I find that Dollarama stores waste too much space with seasonal products. Having more space for useful household items would be more useful. Clean store though, and staff were kind.

I was at this place on October 2 around supper time, i had lot snacks and chocolates. At the checkOut i asked my friend to drop some stuff into my car and after i paid i was just waiting for my friend to come back and pick up the remaining stuffs and it was less than a minute she started throwing my stuff away to the next counter and smashing my chocolates over there. It feels so weird and disrespectful to a customer when such employees behave like that at such reputed store. At every store if the previous customer is bagging or taking the stuff away the cashier is happily waiting until the first customer is done and then she takes the next but they don’t behave like the lady at this store. I feels like she is doing racism to me or she might be doing to another customers as well. When i got served with her there was NO GREETING LIKE HII OR HELLO OR LATER NO THANK YOU, NOT EVEN SHE SAID GOOD DAY.

Just went to get supplies for my mother's 80th birthday. Amongst the supplies I bought 2 packages of crackers at the self serve checkout. While at the checkout I realized that all of the crackers were individually wrapped and didn't want that as it would be tedious to unwrap all prior to my mom's party. I asked an attendant if I could get a refund as I didn't realize they were packaged. She brought over her supervisor who refused to refund because they have a policy about buying food and getting refunds. I explained that is reasonable if I left the store and came back. I was still at the checkout. She refused to bend even though I was at the checkout. This store is very unreasonable...I will never go back. And if this is the policy (without bending in circumstances such as this), then Dollarama doesn't deserve a good rating or a return visit anywhere. I would give it 0 stars if could given my experience with their supervisor .

Very clean lots of new stuff I like going in here as well the people who work there are very very pleasant and the stores never overcrowded because it's so big
