Inferior quality, at a premium price.
I recently had a car repaired after a no fault accident.
As soon as I left I called the shop back and said the car was making a strange noise from the engine. I was told it was probably from sitting in the lot for so long and to drive it around for a week and come back in if it’s still there.
So I did.
Turns out it wasn’t from sitting around and that something had cracked. I was told that they would not be fixing the problem as it’s a result of wear and tear.
Admittedly, the part was not in good condition before the accident cracked it.
I explained the car made no noise before the accident, I was told by guy named Dawa it was a coincidence and shrugged off.
He made no attempt to hear me out, just kept insisting it was this ridiculous coincidence.
My car had a blue book value of $2k.
Somehow they spent a little over $8k to repair it and it drove and sounded horribly.
It cost me another $730 to have the car properly fixed on top of that.
The worst part was Dawa was so cold, indifferent and dismissive of the whole situation. He had made up his mind and that was that.
If you have a choice as to where to take your car, don’t bring it to Dawa at Fix Auto.

Fix auto is a crummy spot it literally smells like cat piss in here and they tried to charge me a fortune! Definitely don't come here unless you like giving your money to dirt bags !

Steele VW sent me to this Fix Auto for corrosion repair. They replaced truck lid and put spoiler back on car. 2 years later spoiler was about to fall off car so i removed it so it wouldn't come flying off car. (I don't use car wash or pressure) I then discovered under spoiler picks in the paint and cracks in the paint which stared to rust. They didn't help at all and told me to go back to dealer which I chased for 4 months to have them say there is nothing they can do. Moral of story don’t take your car here or to Steele as they force this company to do the work. Then again not sure that might be a VW Canada thing. I do share some responsibility in the fact I should have done my own spoiler installation for two reasons 1) I might have been able to see the issues 2) The tape they used pulled off spoiler without leaving any residue which is just wrong should have been a lot harder to remove not like I was pulling apart a cheese string haha. I had installed my last one and it was on car 3 years before i had the work done.Service: Body & Trim

My car needed a door maybe 2 that could have been bought at Kenny u-pull for 150 in the same color but they did their quote and it was for over 3000 so they wrote my little car off. I usually don't do reviews (for good or bad as I usually don't have the time). Don't walk, turn and run from this bodyshop. Had Ford Motor Company send my Platinum F-150 here to take care of a dime-size rust spot under warranty on the drivers door. Upon completion of repair, the drivers mirror was not mounted properly, the inside door panel was loose, they forgot to hook up the power window connection and the paint was a miss match. They ended up respraying the door another 2 times (only for it not be to a match, still, and resulted in rude/ very unprofessional customer service and said that's the best they can do) and here we are, 2.5 years later and the dime-size rust spot is back (but it's no longer under Fix Autos paint warranty so I'm looking at taking the truck to another bodyshop on my dime).
