“So I’ve got a story about this little shop. One of my best friends was diagnosed with cancer and my friend and I went to Halifax to visit him and his wife. We wanted to pick up flowers for her and so we stopped in Jake’s Florist as it was near his house on our way in. Jake’s was closed for a wedding they were doing, but we ran into the owner as he was leaving. He apologized for being closed but asked us the occasion. When we told him why we were in town, he stopped what he was doing and made us the most beautiful flower arrangement on the spot so that we could bring it to our friend and his wife. This was one of the most incredible acts of kindness I have ever experienced. If you are ever in need of flowers I implore you to go here. They are salt of the earth people that deserve the absolute best.”
