I just started here. You get out what.you.put in. Negative people give Negative responses. Someone doesn't say hi, you say it.The training staff is top notch I am having a good experience. Nothing is.perfect.

It is a good club, especially for women. Small place for women. There is no massage chair for women only. It is downstairs for men and women together. The women's section needs a little support.

One of the best places for workout so far. I have been going there since past few weeks and it is absolutely the gem. They charge us around $25-$30 biweekly so it’s little bit pricey but the amount of service and equipment are pretty good and under well condition. I would definitely suggest you guys this place. They also have tanning service and bathrooms available also have a separate area for female work out.

Mixed reviews as a returning client. The women’s section is small and cramped, not to mention it just has the leftover equipment from the old women’s gym next door. Not the best first impression.Very strange new customer on-boarding process with a person who … let’s say is not suited to working as front-line staff for a gym and setting expectations for new customers.The bigger concern is that I’ve been contacted 3 times in the past 2 weeks by staff asking me why I haven’t been to the gym. Pardon?For starters, as I told the first person, I’ve been away on vacation, plus then I’ve been doing heavy work on my property which has been a great workout every day and I feel zero guilt about it.And then the second person called, and I told them the same thing. And now a third person has called today.Don’t you talk to each other? It’s not the staff’s fault but I must say I find it a bit annoying to be contacted so often and asked to defend or explain my personal choices. That may not be the intent but that’s how it feels as a customer.We shall see but so far… this location not tracking so well.

My experience at this location is mixed.On the one hand, the equipment, facility and schedule have been a blessing. Everything is relatively new, accessible and has a good variation of machines.On the other hand, the staff assigned to work here could be more questionable. I often have excellent and friendly encounters, but sometimes, the staff are extremely rude and don't know how to communicate with members.Please, friends, get off your phones and put your egos back at home when you work as representations to a large corporation like GoodLife.Cheers,

Great club, the GM is a delight. Nicely laid out, one floor, so no meatheads upstairs dropping weights. Main fitness studio is quite small and no cycling studio is unforgiveable. Friendly staff.

I agree with previous reviews about not very clean facility. I had to change clubs because I like to go to the sauna but I can't enjoy this time in good life. People come to the sauna in fully workout dressed including shoes. No one changes shoes at the gym entrance. So, wearing these shoes they visit not only the training room but also the sauna. They sit on the upper benches in their shoes. Talking loud and watching videos with loud sound in the sauna. When asked for silence, they answer that there are no such rules. Very disappointed. Changed club.

The staff seem more interested in socializing, With their friends then doing any work reported a safety issue with one of the machines 2 weeks ago machine has not been taken out of service or fixed.Seriously thinking of cancelling my membership.

Pros: open 24 hours, lots of parking, generally clean and nice facilityCons: staff seem indifferent, almost as a rule. I often feel like I have to interrupt them being on their phones in order to ask a question. (I know things get slow and jobs can be boring but at least either HIDE it or be aware enough to notice a customer is around)

Impolite and rude. I was charged extra for the time taken off and when I called to find out the person from the club Sharon, put me on hold twice for 10 mins each time. I was trying to understand the break up of this charges and requested for a refund as I was not informed of the same. All she gave me was a 1800 number to deal with it myself. Neither did she even help to at least resolve my problem nor listen as I had follow up questions as the information was on her screen.She was disinterested and was in a hurry to hang up phone. Disappointed and upsetting. If your a new/recently opened fitness centre, work on your customer service skills, because we certainly won’t come back here for sure.

The gym is good, nothing special. I asked a gym superintendent a question about the use of equipment and she was very rude, not even looking at my face when I was talking to her, and not caring to listen to me. Absolutely poor customer service. Being the biggest gym chain in Halifax, it seems that GoodLife Fitness care the least towards customers

Will share extended review on blog. Gym is great but my payment issues were not answered well by manager and the employee who signed me up. I got alot of amount deducted from account which is not refunded yet.

Another club that’s makes it difficult to cancel the membership. The so called “Cancel any time “policy. Needs 30 days notice. Just a minor 90$ to cancel your policy. I think I’ll stick to local gyms from now on. Super disappointed.
