Historic Properties is a charming collection of shops and eateries set in a historic downtown location in Halifax. Visitors can find a variety of interesting local products, from souvenirs to food and drinks. While it may be a bit farther from the cruise terminal than some other shops, the calm, nostalgic atmosphere and scenic harbor views make it a worthwhile destination. With a great selection of cute food trucks, restaurants, and opportunities for harbor tours, Historic Properties offers a lovely experience for both tourists and locals alike. However, recent news indicates that the leases for this popular attraction will not be renewed, and the shops will have to relocate in the near future, signaling changes on the horizon.
Lovely shops in a historic setting. The stores sell very interesting and local products. It's a bit far from the cruise terminal so it wasn't as busy as the shops closer to the Port but its worth the walk. The calm atmosphere is the same as when I lived in Halifax 30 year ago so it brought back many memories!

Lots to see and a great atmosphere. Many cute little food trucks and restaurants. Opportunities to take scenic harbour tours.
