We have been taking our vehicles to the Krown location on Robie street for 10+ years, but after our experience yesterday, we will never go back. We walked in where the woman on the counter wouldn't even acknowledge our existence. When we said anything to her, she barely lifted her eyes up from her phone, but not before rolling her eyes and saying "ugh, what do you need?". The vehicle we brought in was brand new (200kms on it) so we specifically asked that they use extra caution to not get any greasy hands on the interior of the vehicle, and also asked for the vehicle not to be washed on the exterior afterwards (we had our vehicle ceramic coated and we have to wash with ceramic soap). When the car was returned there was greasy finger prints on both interior panels, and they washed the vehicle with their brush and left scratches/swirls all over the car. Absolutely terrible customer service, extremely unprofessional and overall just a horrible experience.

I got my 2023 F150 undercoated here for the first time. Usually I do all of my own undercoating at home in my shop since I have a hoist and most undercoating places do not do a thorough job. Checking the job afterwards they did miss quite a few places underneath, but I knew what I was getting going to a larger Krown shop. I gave four stars because overall it was a bit better than expected and much better than the previous truck I owned that I got sprayed at a rust check location.
Overall I would recommend them, it’s better than nothing if you’re not able to do it yourself!

My experience with Crown Rust Control was very disappointing. After the service was completed, I thoroughly checked my vehicle and found multiple areas that were not properly covered with rust protection. I expected a much higher standard of quality. This has left me quite frustrated, and I am now planning to have the service redone at a more experienced location.

I have been going to Krown on Robie Street for many years and was always pleased with the job. That said, it recently changed ownership and now is cheaping out on materials. I had my car taken to a mechanic a few days after being done and he said they had missed a lot of places. I have heard the same things from other friends and relatives. High price/ bad service. I will not be returning. You are riding on the good reviews from the past.

Taking back my 5 star rating as this location now has new owners and the service has significantly declined. Horrible experience for my 2023 application. Will find another location to bring our vehicles.

Location was fast and clean and courteous.
WARNING service is flawed if your car has a plastic underpanel.
If you have a plastic guard underneath your car they will not check, they will just spray the plastic and charge the full amount leaving most of the frame and suspension untreated, and the plastic absolutely soaked and dripping for days.
They did it twice in a row, even after assuring me they would correct the work. Head office is no help - the procedure is designed for a quick spray with a hooked wand and no check - and they will not admit their service is flawed on this type of vehicle. This is what I was told: "We have specially designed rods to reach all the necessary areas. The Krown product will creep into every area and is self-healing. There is a good reason why you see the product on the plastic pieces but the metal looks dry... Krown is a treatment (not a coating) that absorbs into rust and inhibits and repels moisture. Krown will drastically slow down further rusting despite the appearance of dryness."
I found that response interesting, considering any metal they actually treated was dripping wet just like the plastic, making it very hard to believe their claims that the dry metal above the plastic got any treatment. Which also happens to be where my frame is rusting. You've been warned.

Mr.Eastwood who works the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I Dropped by in-person to book an appointment. And instead of booking for another day, they brought my vehicle right in!!

Great place to undercoat a car. They not only did the under of a car, but also the holder of the sides of the windows and the fuel cap and they just did it in 40 minutes. Thank you guys.
