Bad business and do not recommend this shop for anything... phoned for price on muffler installed price was 220 with tax 280 not to bad... I phoned all the shops around and was cheapest for me at the time... I booked and went in and when finished he hands me bill for 383 thats far from the 280 i was quoted... When i said you gave me the price of 280 on phone they basically called me a liar, i had the price written down from all the shops i phoned i was not wrong i was ripped off plain and simple... But hey what can you do besides write them a bad review so there it is take it as it is a word of warning do not do business here... Almost 400 bucks for a simple muffler job other shops quoted 300 to 340 they quoted 280 and i fell for it so be aware be very aware who your dealing with...

I have taken my car to this shop several times to install tires and have always enjoyed their service.....unitl......Keep in mind they put the winter tires on when reading. I took my car in to remove the old winter tires that were very low on thread to put my all seasons on. When we went to pickup the car we were advised the wheel lock key broke (twisted inside) when swapping them out. I can only think of a couple reasons this would happen - over torque, not fully inserting the lock onto the l

They rushed through mounting my tires to the rim, damaged the bead causing a blowout, and refused to own their mistake. Will never go near this place again, and good luck to anyone who does if and when the garage screws up again. Justin, who calls himself their "manager" is extremely condescending and unprofessional.

Well Folks, I have to tell you I met these wonderful folks last week and took my car into have some well needed service work done. All I can say is they treated me, and my car excellent. The prices are great, service wonderful; I ended up purchasing 4 new snow tires and rims for my car as well. I just want you all to know, when it come to trusting service centers, I am one that is cautious. After dealing with the staff there, there is only one place for me, OK TIRE BAYERS LAKE. Thank you!!

Crooks! Stay away from this place! Went there to get a MVI done on a 5 year old car imported from Quebec. They raised a bill of over 1200$ going from replacing all the brake parts & emergency brake to flushing transmission fluid and replacing 2 bushings. Took it to a competitor to have a second opinion and they gave me the MVI after fixing the emergency brake that was stuck. Final bill: 120$ including MVI. Mechanics at this place do not troubleshoot problems with your car, they simply replace parts. Take your car somewhere else.

I recently brought my Ford van into Major Discount Complete Auto Service to have a radius arm installed. After they inspected it I was given a long list of repairs they said needed to be done and I was told the van would not be safe to drive unless these repairs were completed, the price was $2800.00. I told them to only fix the radius arm. I then took the van to another place and had a mechanic that worked for a ford dealership for over 20 years inspect the van. I gave the mechanic the list of item given to me by "Major Discount" and asked him to check each item. Of the 16 items on the list I was told that one 1 needed repaired. The cost of the item was $69.00 with 1.5 hours labour for installation. I was also told that 2 of the items on the list do not even exist on my van. I would strongly recommend never going "Major Discount Complete Auto Service" for any type of auto repair.

I used to go to another garage but they did not always do a good job and would not stand behind their work. We have 2 older vehicles that needed work and I thought I would try this place. They seemed very professional when I went in but as we had problems and I would return I found them to be very unhelpful. They are very young the guys who run the place and seem to not really care about their work. fist car: I'm very knowledgeable with vehicles and had figured out what was wrong with my steering system. It was leaking power steering fluid. I saw that one of the metal lines had rusted. I ordered the line from the dealer and was going to try the job myself but it was cold and without a lift the job is not easy. I took the truck to Major Discount they had just done a lot of work on my wife's car. They told me that the rack and pinion steering assembly needed to be replaced and it would be over $1000 to repair. I told them to just replace the corroded line. I went down and showed them where the problem was. I had viewed a number of youtube videos about the issue. They insisted that the line could not be replaced because of corrosion, the assistant manager raised his voice insisting I was wrong!. There was no corrosion evident. I have had the truck undercoated every year. They then said that they probably couldn't get the line. Well I told them it's been ordered and is at the dealer waiting to be picked up. I went and picked up the $30 line and gave it to them. They begrudgingly installed it and I was on my way having only paid a total of $260 instead of their original quote of over $1000. They were just interested in trying to fix the issue but rather simply replace the part. If I had listened to them they would have thrown out a perfectly good rack and pinion steering system. Very unprofessional. second car: My wife's car needed new struts. I'm familiar with what needs to be done and have actually done the job in the past. I saw the bill for over 2 hours labour which is ok for removing the struts, taking off the old springs and installing them on the new struts. We drive the car and find that going over bumps in the road caused a rattling sound. We took the car back and I find out that they installed a strut assembly that includes a new spring. They said the strut was defective and replaced it. We took the car home and found that it was still rattling over bumps. They said they drove it and found no issue. I bring it back again and one of the mechanics looks at it and says yes they are defective. I'm told they can try another pair or upgrade to a better strut assembly. I returned with a strut assembly I purchased from Canadian tire that was cheaper than their quote. I asked them to remove the defective strut assemblies and install the ones in the trunk of the car. He said ok. NOTHING ELSE WAS SAID. They install the strut assemblies and said you are now stuck with the old ones! I was not told this would happen, I spoke to the asst manager and he said yeah I didn't tell you that. Their attitude has been very smug and to think they charged me over 2 hours labour to bolt in 2 strut assemblies that would take at most 1 hour is deceptive. They took the easy way and most profitable approach to replacing the struts. After they talked to the owner they did agree to refund me the cost of the other struts but I was over charged for the work they did. I would not recommend this place to anybody. They just want to maximize your bill and have no interest in saving you money. It's what ever is best for them!!!

I brought a vehicle today for them to look at that I was thinking about buying. Am I glad I did! The mechanic I dealt with was very thorough and answered all of my questions. Saved me from making a very expense mistake!
