“Great selection of meats, produce, frozen food, and miscellaneous items that change on a regular basis so make sure to check frequently for popup sales items during the week. Prices are very reasonable and sometimes incredible. One thing is certain, the owner/operator is not greedy at all, unlike the big box stores that gouge us to death. This is truly a case of a local store owner trying to get the best prices for the local citizens. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The store is kept clean even though it is often packed full with customers. There is often a line up to get into the store, but it usually moves fairly fast. The store is about to get bigger as a result. Overall the store does bring great grocery value to the local community without gouging while being profitable enough to remain open. It's the way traditional groceries were before big box stores appeared many decades ago. This is a local grocer that we citizens should support and be loyal to.”
“The quality here is like nothing I have ever had the beef , burger , steak, is the best tasting meat in NS for sure .. my go to place for beef , chicken, eggs , but obviously it’s on the higher end for price but once you taste it you can tell why .”
“Hard to make a bad choice here. Everything I've tried has been great, and as someone who often forgets about meals until I'm already hungry, I appreciate a quality frozen dinner. I do find it a bit pricey though, so I usually wait for sales and stock up.
The staff at this location are very cheerful and personable, and always have an informed recommendation ready if you're looking to try something new.”

Ten years ago you wouldn’t let me use your washrooms when I was on the crew working on your street because you assumed I wasn’t going to buy anything, and immediately rescinded when you found out I needed to buy something too. I left and never returned but I don’t think I ever got a chance to say: I hope people are kinder to you than you were to me.”
