Went to get an oil change and winter tires put on the refused to do my tires because of the brand I bought. Went to pick up car and they hadn't don't oil change either bad attitude

Wouldn’t install brand new tires on my vehicle, claiming they were not EV rated despite the tire manufacturer saying they were.
I’d usually leave it at that, but a Halifax Reddit thread I saw today has others who have had the same treatment.
I will never return.

Last year these guys misdiagnosed a brake issue 4 times. I picked it up one of these times and the cluster was still indicating a brake issue. Chewed threw three rotors each time before identifying the issue. Costed an arm and leg. I won't let these guys go near my bicycle after that experience.

Midas on Robie always provides amazing customer service as well as the quality of the work. I’ve gone to them thinking that I was due for a brake pad replacement and they’ve let me know that I could easily get another six months out of it so they’re not looking for a money grab! Been a loyal customer for several decades and even continue to go to them after I moved about an hour away because I haven’t found as reliable and trustworthy as them.
Recently, I had an issue with my car crop up as I was nearby. I dropped the car to them with no notice and rushed to my work meeting, and it was fixed within the hour! Can’t recommend them more!

Worst Experience ever for the Motor Vehicle Inspection. They are not at all honest. Charged me for an MVI and gave me more than 900 cad of quotation for the works my car needed. I got all of that fixed under 300 cad at a different shop. And then as I fixed it somewhere else, they refused to give me the sticker and said they will charge me labour to re inspect it as someone else fixed it. But that was not they said earlier. They said that even if I get it fixed somewhere else, they will give me the sticker if I come within 10 days. Not at all recommended even in emergency or any small work as well.
