Every time I have been there the wonderful staff have been great. Pleasure to donate there as you know they are helping the less fortunate

Prices have doubled in the last year. There was a second hand Under Armour bra for $19. Crazy. Especially since the building is paid for and the staff are 75% volunteers. Do better. The merchandise is FREE, the staff is FREE, and the building is PAID. Too small a city to be scamming like this. People know

Very disappointing that I went to drop off 3 donation bags only to be told that I could not do so after 6pm. Asked the worker if there were bins elsewhere as I could not make it before 6 he said no. So I donated to value village instead.

I started shopping here around 2021 and it was a perfect location for a while. however, as of the past year prices have been going up quite a lot, so I haven't been going to this location as much as I was. and I know it's for a good cause so I try not to take it to harshly, but when I look at a pair of pants being sold for $29 I find it hard to ignore how much the prices have changed. I think certain people who price items are pricing them based on brands, which is ridiculous, I saw a Wilfred free body suit with a stain on the shoulder being sold for $23. this used to be one of my favourite locations for thrifting, but now its almost the same if not more expensive than value village.

There is no proper area at the fitting rooms to park shopping carts. Line ups are in the clothing isle, blocking people to shop. It gets very crowded when busy. Fitting rooms have very poor lighting. They are also using a fitting room as storage.

Prices USED to be amazing, a truly clean and affordable thrift store. Now, it’s so overpriced I can’t understand who they are catering to.I donated all of my best items - several bags full - + some high end electronics bc I believed they were going to go back into the community at an affordable price. The look on my face when I went inside after dropping things off and tried to shop!!I know you help people in other ways, but people with lower incomes deserve to have nice clothes for work and daily life too. Some of the prices are completely and utterly absurd. I have no reason to go back there to shop, when it used to be what brought me to Bayers Lake.

It’s not worth shopping here anymore, if you’re looking for affordable clothing just go to H&M, because that’s what you’ll find here except used and at a higher markup price.
