Do not recommend going there. Tomas is the rudest person I’ve ever seen ?. They made my rim bend and dint want to be responsible for that. $80 service caused $1500 rim replacement smh. Customer service with the shop in this location is arrogant and dismissive, I was told “get out of my face” and being pointed at on my face for multiple times by Daniel and Tomas. The rudeness and irresponsibility of theirs have gone beyond every part of my knowledge.Update after nearly a year: it's snow season again and looking to get my tires changed, Scotia tire Bedford still has such a bad taste in my mouth with the customer service, reading the recent reviews have made me realize I shouldn't go back and give it another chance. Nothing against the brand, but last time after my tire balancing only 3 screws from each tires are tighten up, 2 are so loosen up that you just don't feel it was screwed on it, more like just placed on it. It's sad to see nothing has changed for this business, I genuinely want you to be better. Maybe I'll try Scotia tire somewhere else, but definite not Bedford..

This used to be a great shop when Sean was the manager. I will never go back. I called this morning to change tomorrow’s appt to today and was told ok and they had my tires ready to be taken out of storage. When my husband arrived for the appt. the fellow who took the call lied to his face and said he never spoke to me and knew nothing about it. We have been using Scotia Tire for 20 plus years with great service but since Sean left it is one mess up after another. Everyone makes mistakes at work from time to time but to lie to your customer’s face is inexcusable.

I've been a satisfied customer of Scotia Tire since 2020, but my recent encounter has left me with concerns that I feel compelled to share. I had a scheduled appointment for a winter tire change, booked a month in advance. Unfortunately, the entire experience, starting from the moment I walked in, was far from satisfactory. The front desk staff encountered difficulties locating my appointment details and stored winter tires, causing initial frustration. Matters took a turn for the worse with the involvement of the new General Manager, a bald gentleman with glasses. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he responded in an unprofessional and confrontational manner, raising his voice and dismissively waving his hand, saying, "Just one second, can you ease off!" multiple times. To my surprise, he also seized the opportunity to badmouth the previous general manager, an action that was both inappropriate and irrelevant.Despite expressing my dissatisfaction to the staff, there was no acknowledgment or apology from the General Manager. The root of the problem was later discovered – a simple misspelling of my name in their system, a mistake that could have been resolved with a more diligent and customer-oriented approach.Upon returning to collect my vehicle, neither the Manager nor any employee offered an apology. Instead, an Asian employee (guy in the front desk) insisted that it was my responsibility to keep the receipt, implying that I had made a mistake. I clarified that I had taken a picture of the receipt and emphasized the importance of the tire center maintaining accurate customer information. Unfortunately, he continued to talk back (blabbering) without apologizing or acknowledging their mistakes and inappropriate behavior. Frustrated, I chose to end the conversation and walked out.The only positive note was the lady (with glasses) at the front desk, who exhibited a pleasant demeanor (who also found the solutions while the other 2 guys were clueless) and assured me that steps would be taken to prevent such incidents in the future. As a long-time customer, I believe the behavior displayed by the new General Manager and the Asian guy in the front is not only damaging to the branch's reputation but also sets a negative example for the entire team. In a service-oriented industry, the General Manager & front desk employees represent the face of the establishment, and poor customer service at this level reflects poorly on the company as a whole.I'm not seeking compensation; my primary goal is to bring this matter to the attention of John and Bill Robinson (President & VP). I recommend considering either the removal of these 2 employees (one of which is the General Manager) or providing comprehensive training on customer service. This is crucial for maintaining Scotia Tire's reputation and retaining loyal customers.I sincerely hope that my future experiences at Scotia Tire align with the positive ones I've had in the past.

Car dealership said I needed new tires and these folks assured me I could easily get another season. They also lent me a while when one of mine had to be fixed. Great storage solution between seasons for my tires. Polite and helpful

My recent visit to this tire change service was marred by an unpleasant encounter with the owner. I mistakenly parked in the wrong spot, but his rude and confrontational attitude was entirely uncalled for. In such situations, a polite request or explanation is expected. The owner's behavior left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Businesses should maintain professionalism and courtesy, even when addressing mistakes. This experience was a disappointing one, and I hope it serves as a reminder for better customer service.

Showed up for an appointment to get my front tires changed he (bald man at the front desk) asked me what car it was and that he could do it but it would be a hour and half wait I said ok …. I showed up at the appointment time I was speaking to the lady to drop the key I told her the tires were in the back seat … he was sitting on the desk next to her he then decides to ask is it all wheel drive and are the tires different size I said yes … he then says I can’t do the vehicle after waiting a hour and half … I said well that’s something you shoulda asked before hand he replied with sorry I was busy it’s usually something we do but I didn’t think of it at the time … at the time he wasn’t busy there was no call and customers in the office … horrible service

Ive only put up with this place because I previously went to the cole harbour location for years before moving to halifax. My recent experience today has pushed me to warn others. my regular oil changes here range from $76-$90 depending on what oil they choose to use. But today i was changed $90 for the oil change and an additional $85 for them to bring in the oil from Napa. I drove back to double check their reasoning after reviewing previous receipts from past oil changes. (Pictures attached). It was explained to me that they usually stock the oil, but today they didnt have it in stock so I was forced to pay the $85 + tax for them to refill their supply. Again. I went back to double check that this is in fact why I had to pay an extra $85. Im even sitting in the waiting room writing this so I can have the facts correct for the public. The oil change also took 1.5 hours to do because I had to wait for it to be delivered. Many other times Im here waiting for hours as they always seem to have people call in sick, and my appointments have been rescheduled and moved back weeks with little notice. Ive given this place a fair chance- again, hoping for similar service to the cole harbour location.

In the last year I stopped by a couple times for leaks in tires which they managed to squeeze us in right away. I also had an issue with noise coming from front end of van. I was expecting something serious and costly but they were able to figure out that it was some clips grinding against tire and fixed it easily. We have bought tires and oil changes here as well and have had nothing but great service from Tom and the rest of the staff.

Excellent people, there was a grinding noise from my rear wheels, I was booked only to have a look and what may be the cause of concern. My appointment was at 1pm they took my keys at 1250, there was something stuck on my rear wheels the gentleman took of that thing and I was out by 115 pm. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and understood the problem which was communicated well to the smart technician. Thanks team. Pleasure I visited your scotia tire.Best wishes.

Thanks again to Tom and the crew at the Bedford Highway location. On a busy Friday at what is always a busy shop, they fit us in and helped us with the tire repair fix we needed. Diligent, direct, and effective. Courteous and clear. Very happy with the work and the attention to our needs. Kept our vehicle on the road.

While usually this place is 5 stars, it now gets 2 because of the bad taste left in my mouth. Missed out on work to go get an oil change just to get there and be told “mechanic had to leave, can’t do it today” (there was more of an explanation but this is the jest of it), and that I could re-book over a week later or go “first come first serve” at Cole harbour. If you book an appointment, it should be kept or fit in at the next available time, and a phone call should be made instead of allowing a customer to waste their time getting there to tell them. This isn’t a jab at the mechanic, not his fault, stuff happens, but a phone call instead of waiting for people to show up, or working with the customer to fit them in would have alleviated this whole situation. They do good work, at a decent price, just the customer service was lacking this time.

It's not a mechanic, it's a joke. I came to them to buy and put tires to balance the wheels and collapse of convergence. When I picked up the car, it turned out that they put me used old tires of another brand. And they wanted to sell them at the price of new ones. After picking up the car, I felt something strange was happening to the car, I went to another mechanic to check their work and it turned out that they did not balance the wheels, and the collapse of the convergence because the bolts were not touched

The Bedford Hwy location never disappoints. Excellent service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Have been going there since I’ve owned my first vehicle!
