I really don’t know how they train their stuffs. But this Toni who cashed me out was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. Her attitude was just inpatient as I couldn’t figure out how to use my online banking. And she enjoyed seeing me awkward so much that even forgot to give me a paper bag. Worst shopping experience ever.

My wife and I went to Sephora store in Halifax, NS on Aug 15th to get something for her face. Beauty advisor advised her a lotion to apply on her face and told her if she doesn't notice any difference in 30 days, come back to the store and return the item. I was right there when she mentioned this 30 days return policy. So after applying it for 30 days she noticed it's not working on her skin at all and we decided to go back to the store to return it while purchasing other items. We went back on Oct 4th, talked to the cashier there she said the policy is 30 days and also the product shouldn't have used more than 10%. But we told her that we weren't aware of this 10% policy as the beauty advisor told us that if product doesn't work on your skin after using it for 30 days then comeback and return it. She called the store manager and store manager repeated the same thing, not more than 10% should have used in order to return it. We swear from up and down that we were only informed about the 30 days policy not the 10% usage. Her reply was do you see that beauty advisor on the floor if you do please bring here so I can talk to her unfortunately we couldn't find the beauty advisor on the floor at the time probably it was her day off or don't work there anymore (we don't know). Manager then said I cannot prove what you are saying is right until whosoever misinformed you about the only 30 days policy come here and admit me that she told you this. We remember the face of the BA but don't remember the name (probably it was Sarah). The manager was rude and we both felt humiliated in front of all the customers lined up after us. As manager kept saying I can't prove you are right (means we were just lying there to get our $20 back). We told the manager she (BA) is not here today may be she is not working today, manager again said I cant prove what you are saying is correct until I verify this with the BA. We just left that item there with the cashier and stepped out of the store. It was a bad day with a very negative vibes from the manager and the store that we never experienced before.
Not going back to the store ever again.

Was in yesterday, not sure the name.of the person gelping me. However she was amazing. First time I have ever been offered samples of products. My skin has changed and is very sensitive, so I might find a product that works great, but then I get an allergy reaction in my eyes. I have soent so much money just trying products to see if they were right for me. So to have someone who listened and offered me samples was everything. Thank you to that employee for your kindness and for actually hearing what I was saying. Amazing service.

Needed lots of new products after cancer treatment changed my skin drastically. Was helped by an employee named Sandy who was AMAZING! She was so patient and kind as I explained what I was looking for and made really thoughtful recommendations with explanations as to why she would choose them without making me feel overwhelmed or pressured. Thank you, Sandy!

Today, I went to Sephora, and Jasmine was incredibly helpful in finding the perfect foundation for my skin. She took the time to understand my needs and guided me through the options with patience and expertise. Jasmine’s sweet and friendly attitude made the whole experience enjoyable, and I left feeling confident with my purchase.

I always have a great experience when I go in! As a makeup novice, I really rely on the help of the staff to help me with my purchases. Shout out to Jasmine who helped me find my new FAVOURITE lipgloss after finding out the Kosas Unbuttoned was sold out (p.s it's merit, fantastic formula!). Staff need to smile a bit more, and some are very stuck up. You call that customer service? It is complacent. The owner only tells folks to send an email to the appropriate parties and things still don’t change! Quit with the nonsense excuses! It’s ridiculous and pathetic. Step up to the plate! I won’t ever spend any money here, and this is just a fine example why. Customers build a business and have to be treated in a professional manner. ALWAYS

Today, I went to Halifax Shopping Center because I saw discounted products on the Sephora app. The girl next to the cashier, without any courtesy or willingness to help, briefly replied that the discount had ended and there were no more. Later, I asked about the discounts still shown on Sephora's own app and showed her my phone. She gave me a ridiculous answer saying "out of stock." When I insisted that the product was still on the shelf in front of us, she called the supervisor. The person who came, seemed more ready for a boxing ring than to help. They cut me off without explaining anything. I was very upset that in places where people work because there are no competitors as a brand, they can be so comfortable as to damage the brand so easily.

normally i don’t wear a full face of makeup out shopping and when i enter the store all the employees are on top of me and following me around thinking i’m going to steal or something. when i went in with a face of makeup the other day i’m invisible. no employees greet me or even care to ask if i need any help. every customer deserves the same attention regardless
