A Bank that helped me in the past with pleasant and fast service... ...but, I was recently told by a staff member that I would no longer be welcome to visit this bank as a non-member (upcoming, and due to policy changes) and it was very uncomfortable.
This same staff member also grieved to me in the past about my transactions and how they were mostly very inconvienient for them and that he/they should "bill me $800" because they have to order a secure truck to collect the excess coins that I brought to be exchanged that day".
This staff member made me feel as though I am to blame - or the cause - and the effect is them having (or choosing? ...somebody decided this...) to make policy changes.
I am a nice guy, who smiles and gives thanks. Why harass me like this?
Just 5 months ago I was told by a manager at this bank that I was welcome any time... ...I guess this is just another sign of the times...
Were it possible, I'd give 0 stars for 0 future service.

I am reposting the same review that I shared with your customer experience team:
I don’t mean to be rude.
But your “manager”is super unprofessional and doesn’t know what he was doing.
I recently got married, so after my honeymoon, I called Nova Scotia Vital Statistics and ask what should I do with my name change. They told me I can use my marriage certificate to obtain name change with the bank and change my driver's license, SIN, etc.
I first went to RBC and they didn't question anything, just say congratulations and took my marriage certificate, changed my name for me.
When I went to TD, the manager insist that I must have a legal name change certificate. I tried to explain 3 times that I would not receive one, my marriage certificate is my legal name change certificate and I want my husband's last name that's all.
The guy tried so hard to tell me my marriage name is not my legal name, he went ask his superior 2 times and every time he lied to me he will be able to do it, just need to grab some paperwork for signature. He end up telling me he cannot change my name for me. Even though by law, I would get a new legal name the day I am married. I got frustrated about this, then he told me I must change my driver's license first then I can change my name on my bank account.
And he told me he never seen this happened in his whole career, then his career must be pretty short, as I am the first person he saw that get married. He also asked me several times who tell me I can change my name with a marriage certificate, I told him vital statistics, then he ask me with a joking voice: who is that?
Clearly he has no idea who is vital statistics. So I told him that’s the government people, Nova Scotia government, and he told me “here is TD bank” and doesn’t care what I was talking about at all. This happened several times during our conversation and he just keep questioning about vital statistics made this rule and keep telling me this is TD and TD has its own rules.
He could just tell me right away that I need both new driver’s license and marriage certificate (like the second guy I spoke to did), instead of arguing with me about that legal name change certificate for 20 minutes and then blame me for being difficult.
When I got frustrated, I was very emotional, which I should be apologized for.
Then he told me he can change my new legal name as a preferred name. I said no, I will just come back some day, please give my thing back to me. He still hold on to my marriage certificate and my license, and told me again he can change it to a preferred name. I said that’s not what I want, please give my things back to me. But he still won’t give my things back to me. I had to say it at least 3 times to ask my things back.
It seems like he also made some sort of note on my file for this incident too. Whatever happened, I don’t care anymore.
My solution is once my GIC is mature I will close all of my bank accounts with TD, hope you do better with someone else.

The supposed "Manager" of this location has GURANTEED that I never give a penny of my hard earned money to TD ever again. This company is greedy and deceitful. It has been caught red handed cheating and ripping off the elderly. It has been caught red handed making people's financial situation worse for their own profit. TD doesn't care about Canadians, it cares about money. All you have to do is Google TD and HIDDEN CAMERA and you'll see what I'm talking about.
I went into this location to see about renewing my mortgage and staying a TD customer. I was already not impressed at how TD made my financial situation worse when I was struggling with high fee's and hidden charges. When I went in to voice my concerns, the IDIOT who called himself the manager Ignored what I was saying, dodged and obfuscated responsibility, said "that was someone else, not here" when I said what my concerns with TD were. He cut me off, obviously not interested in anything that didn't make him an immediate profit. I stopped and said "I don't feel like you're taking my concerns seriously" and he actually replied "Well, you're attacking me". I closed my mouth, got up and left.
This company is not interested in anything or anyone other than money and profit. They don't even pretend to be otherwise anymore. Save yourself the hassle and potential financial harm and at least go with one of the online banks that don't charge account fee's and BLATANTLY rip off people who can't afford it for disgusting profit.
This bank should be sanctioned out of business.

My most recent experience was very unpleasant. Please train your advisors regarding the products. Regardless of showing the info from the TD website, incorrect information was provided. Tellers have always been friendly and helpful. TD customer service resolved it finally

I have been let down in the past by many TD financial advisors, until I met Gavin Ireland. He is the sole reason I continue doing all my banking at this branch. If you need financial advice, I highly recommend reaching out to him. He is highly intelligent, extremely knowledgeable, very personable and always keeps your best interests in mind.

How TD Bank CAUSED MY FINACIAL RUIN. Toronto Dominion Bank are Greedy scammer's top-notch white-collar liars. They are not for the family they are for themselves. GREEDY! I had a regular mortgage with TD, I put a personal line of credit for my house It gave me flexibility to pay off house in lump sums without T.D.B. causing penalties, & without paying more interest, this made sense single parent of two university young adults. Been a self-employed contract worker not all contracts were created equal every month. With normal bills & groceries this was a financial Struggle. TD= TOTAL DEVASTATION OF MY FINANCES. I turned a certain age. TD sneaky tactic was to charge another $540.00. a month fee when my house PLC became a higher risk on 200k mortgage. No letter ! OR CALL @ Toronto Dominion Bank 4 BULLIES. Did T.D.B ASK ME if I could handle new financial challenge? NO! Who is protecting my financial interest? If not the Toronto dominion bank? NO One! This crushed me financially. Yes, it crushed me to the point where I had to use my personal line of credit to pay $540.00 fee new charge every month on PLC house. for TD's assured profits. Total bully act from Toronto dominion bank. I reached out to NHL E.K. family member who has made 90 million in his career so far @$580.000 a month to bless us. Nope he was busy buying multimillion dollar homes. Everything went downhill fast I was way overextended from this bully act from TD bank. How was I to survive already burning the candle @ both ends for work @ both ends financially. I was broke Jan 2020. I was left no other choice, sell my house, loss neighborhood friends now my daughters had no place to visit. My house sold during covid & I lost one hundred & sixty thousand dollars of equity or more. There were a lot of dreams attached many years of mortgage commitment, forced retirement do to ageing degenerative conditions 30 yrs. Rehab Therapist. Now What? Will TD pay back $ 160k or more. lost on forced sale? During covid ? The Financial doom TD bank caused charging extra insurance age fee. Has caused severe DEPRESSION ! I let the TD bully bank know this information several times from start of new fee .Nobody @ TD cared to return my calls. They made reason why not to care. Toronto Dominion Bank kept on increasing my personal interest rates on plc. Though covid the bullies of Toronto dominion bank raised my interest on personal line of credit 5 times up to today the minimum payment was not chiseling away anymore @ principle it's all interest. I have not worked since 2019. Does TD care about my financial doom they caused? NO! Saying NEW INTEREST CHARGES. TD IS PROUD OF ANOTHER INTEREST HIKE on poverty Victim. HOW DISGUSTING ! Seriously injured 2021 by physiotherapist still have neurological injuries today. I phoned TD bank Nov 2021 to collect the injury insurance on personal plc that I paid into for years, The fees paid to plc insurance equaled more than I owed on the current plc. I had no access to plc injury insurance or to get the plc paid off by TD bullies because the insurance was FAKE, A LIE. This is CRIMINAL! I was told by TD rep this is injury insurance when it was first set it up. TD = Lying, GREEDY.TD bank bully scammed me again. They have not issued an injury insurance payment or paid me out to me since I phoned Nov 2021. Toronto Dominion bank will tell the Government about my outstanding debt & TD will get paid from Gov will probably garnished wages or have horrible credit or have parasite credit collectors. ALL COULD HAVE ALL BEEN PREVENTED IF Toronto dominion bank didn't MISSREPRESENT ITSELF? or Checked 1st with me to make sure I could financially handle new $ 540.00 charge @ age hike SCAM ! Who regulates the banks will they care T.D.B destroyed me financially? Will I get a Reimbursed for having to prematurely selling my house @ a loss of $160k or more ? Toronto Dominion Bank ARE The biggest public scam artists. My standard of living is awful I can't afford medical treatments. No income. I'm now considered to be the very poo

Short lady with glasses is unfriendly. Threw the receipt at me when asked for it. Definitely the worst customer service I've received from any bank for that matter. I believe she is a supervisor. Daphne is great though.
