I've never used the branch itself, only the ATMs (you can get money with your Tangerine bank card for no fee at Scotiabank branches). There probably isn't a better physical location in town, everything is nearby! Just be careful after dark when the sketchies come out and you'll be fine.

I used to be at this bank pretty much every day and the staff is super friendly and always courteous. This sometimes leads to a bit of a longer wait in line if its busy, but at the same time I really appreciate the personal service you receive once you do get to the teller!

I've been a loyal customer of Scotiabank for years now (ever since I got my very first debit card, which wasn't exactly yesterday), and this location is my go-to spot for all my banking needs. Always pleased with services- plus the ATM is always conveniently open, which is great if I'm in a bind for cash

This Bank of Nova Scotia location gets a decent amount of respect from me for one reason: They will allow you to purchase rolls of laundry money without requiring that you be a customer of their bank. Thank you! Finally! Since when did 'Here's my twenty, i'd like $15 in loonies, $5 in quarters' illicit a: 'Certainly, can I just see your debit card?' For what? How could that possibly be necessary in this transaction? Essentially, what banks are telling me when they won't let me buy laundry money is a) they don't care if my clothes are dirty and b) they don't want to expend the cost of processing coin, bills etc on my behalf when i'm not paying monthly user fees, etc. Grrrrr.... Anyways, moving on... This Scotiabank location will! And I love them for it. If I regularly required teller service at this bank I would probably be a little miffed though. I was in at 11:45am yesterday and waited 20 minutes in line. This bank is only open 10am-5pm, 5 days a week... can't half the staff take their lunch at 1? It seems obvious that a lot of people will need to do banking between 12pm-1pm. Especially when their bank isn't open before or after work. Regardless, the laundry money and friendly service will keep me coming back!
