“Peacock is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience and it's a great place to enjoy happy hour. NS bubbles are $5 off per glass before 6:00 and there is a nice range of bar snacks. The other great thing about happy hour is that the restaurant is lively, but not so noisy that you can't hear the other people at your table speak.”

Similar layouts, similar shelving and organization. Both are fine places, its just difficult to see a difference.”

In general in a lot of stores, especially lately, I’m finding the service under par, but not with Dana tonight! She was so great!! Please thank her for me!! She deserves a raise!!”

“God bless urban outfitters for contributing to keeping Barrington street alive. They remain a go-to for popping in when we are in the area to see what vinyls they have in stock (usually a different selection than Taz which is cool). Also have genuinely good sales on discount items making expensive clothes pretty cheap.Always like to have a good "mall store" easily accessible and right downtown for a change.”

“Amazing store! I went in to get my first head scarf, I was super nervous but the lady at the store was SO SWEET. She was incredibly helpful showing me around and letting me feel the fabrics before buying them. “Last week I was walking by the stores on the top level at the mall (Halifax Shopping Centre), the stores were closed, but I glanced downstairs and saw this glittery dress through the window and thought "Wow, if I had the body"So for the past 2 years during covid, I've gained weight like many others and lost a lot of confidence in my physical appearance. I even went on a trip to USA and had 0 luck. After I finished work yesterday, I decided "Today was rough... and I deserve a little retail therapy too!" Well I hit up BBW naturally lol, but then, I had to see this glittery dress for myself.As I walked in the staff were all very inviting and I didn't get very far before multiple people offered me help, or to check for sizing as XL is a rare one. I heard the staff explain how to spell my name for the fitting room as she took my pile of dresses. (I have struggled with the motivation to spend money on myself and just felt unpretty, but to my surprise all 3 dresses I tried were amazing!)I didn't shy away from the email sign up and got the opportunity to save on the spot. I heard the staff joking with customers and doing an online order and everything was just seamless.With that being said I wasn't to personally thank the team at the store for making me valued, we all need a little recognition today! I'll be back for my birthday dress very soon! :)”
