“In regards to men's clothes I find that there's isn't a great assortment, and when you do find something you like, it's only in one size. Not to say that there's nothing there, I just don't find much. There's plenty of odds and ends that you can get for a decent price, but I can't speak for the women's clothes. Overall a nice store, and I'm sure there are plenty of people that find some great deals.”

“Amazing store! I went in to get my first head scarf, I was super nervous but the lady at the store was SO SWEET. She was incredibly helpful showing me around and letting me feel the fabrics before buying them. She was absolutely lovely to talk with and was super friendly.They have a huge selection of clothes and scarves and a good selection of perfumes too (the store smelled AMAZING). I absolutely recommend this little shop!”

“I have wonderful experience couple weeks ago.
Staff went above and beyond to help me with sizes of clothes, and when I was already on cash, paying, I told to cashier that I loved one of the dresses but want same dress in another color too.
Cashier checked it was showing that they have in store, staff was running for 20 minutes and they did found it for me! I was already ready just to order online, but they did everything to help me.
Thank you for being so amazing!”

“Last week I was walking by the stores on the top level at the mall (Halifax Shopping Centre), the stores were closed, but I glanced downstairs and saw this glittery dress through the window and thought "Wow, if I had the body"So for the past 2 years during covid, I've gained weight like many others and lost a lot of confidence in my physical appearance. I even went on a trip to USA and had 0 luck. After I finished work yesterday, I decided "Today was rough... and I deserve a little retail therapy too!" Well I hit up BBW naturally lol, but then, I had to see this glittery dress for myself.As I walked in the staff were all very inviting and I didn't get very far before multiple people offered me help, or to check for sizing as XL is a rare one. I heard the staff explain how to spell my name for the fitting room as she took my pile of dresses. (I have struggled with the motivation to spend money on myself and just felt unpretty, but to my surprise all 3 dresses I tried were amazing!)I didn't shy away from the email sign up and got the opportunity to save on the spot. I heard the staff joking with customers and doing an online order and everything was just seamless.With that being said I wasn't to personally thank the team at the store for making me valued, we all need a little recognition today! I'll be back for my birthday dress very soon! :)”

“What a helpful team and great product. Traveling to Canada i wanted to pick up some Canadian brand clothes and my partner suggested roots. Strait away the quality of the clothes feels super good and comfortable. I definitely didn't need another hoodie but I've come home with one and will cherish it! Staff were super smily and friendly had great chats and genuinely showed interest in talking to us. Thanks to the staff will come visit you next time I’m back for another hoodie!”
“We travelled from New Brunswick to visit the store. We were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in there was friendly smiles and a welcoming environment The sales team was incredibly helpful however Olatide was our direct support and she was amazing. She listen and had patience she encouraged her to try different items. The staff cheered and clapped when the final decision was made. Such a nice touch. This is our 3 time purchasing a prom dress and by far the best experience yet. “I came here a few years ago, and it was such a nice surprise to see the place looking even better this time. They repainted the outside, and it really makes the shop stand out.
It may look small from the outside, but once you step in, there’s so much to see. From cool jewelry and vintage finds to little treasures and handmade items from all over, you never know what you’ll come across. I ended up spending way longer than I planned just looking around.”
