Your Independent Grocer Hubbards is a local small-town grocer and the only spot for groceries in Hubbards. It is handy for the essentials and has a great selection for a smaller store, carrying all the staple items and then some. While it is not a big, fancy store with everything and one would not expect to find much beyond the basics, it has everything you need, including dairy-free alternatives. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, with new owners who greet you with a smile. The store looks a bit older, but the employees do their best to make things look nice. During peak hours, there are plenty of checkouts open to keep things flowing quickly, and the cash registers are up to date. Things are a bit pricier here than in Tantallon, but it saves the drive.

Small but a great stop before heading into the cottage. Good veggie & meats selection but definitely on the pricer side.

This store is always well stocked from fresh to frozen . The staff ( including the owners ) are super friendly and knowledgeable . Everything from salads to fruit trays , sandwiches and take and bake pizzas are made fresh daily . 5 stars !!

The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The store is clean and very well stocked. The owners are always supporting community initiatives. I actually travel past big chain stores to shop here. 😊
