About Queens County Museum
The Queens County Museum offers a fascinating journey through the region’s rich history. It is an awesome and excellent place, described as small but mighty, with lots of interesting things to look at. Exhibits cover the Mi'kmaq people, Acadian history, the War of 1812, and privateers, explaining the difference between them and pirates. The shipbuilding industry and a full rack of old cameras are also featured. It is a well-maintained museum with a knowledgeable and friendly staff who explain details. The museum includes a kids' cannon and activities, and admission is by donation. It is also home to the Thomas Raddall Research Centre for genealogy research. A refreshed gift shop and seasonal displays, like lobster art in February, add to the visit.

Beautiful museum in Liverpool. Small, but with an amazing collection. If you visit, please sign the visitor's book. A small gesture of this kind keeps such amazing little gems open and funded to be able to continue functionning.
