“I was in Dartmouth for the night staying at a relatives condo for a night, and heading back to cape breton in the morning when I woke up to find my truck window smashed and my wallet stolen. I phoned Alpine auto to help me seal up my window for the drive home. The owner had already closed up shop but insisted I come by and he would help me out. He sealed up my window, vacuumed up the glass and had me on my way. As a business owner myself, I know how important customer service is. “I recently tried to put a 10’ 2x4 in my 9’11” Audi Q5. It looked like it would fit but when I closed the power hatch it pushed the 2x4 through my windshield. The result was a 20” starburst crack in the middle of my windshield. Ugh. I didn’t have any rope or bungee to tie it to the roof rack. Clearly I have that in my glove box now….I called Speedy auto glass in Lower Sackville the next morning and within 24 hours they replaced my windshield, billed my insurance and everything was good as new. Better really because it’s wonderful to have a fresh clean windshield when you have to drive in the dark and rain in January!”
