“As a teacher I was in need of a rug for my classroom. I called up Trabrizi Rugs to see what they had to offer and generously donated me a large beautiful rug. Such nice people there and incredible rug quality. I will be for sure buying my next rug from them!
Thank you so much Tabrizi, my students are loving it!”
“I purchased a bedroom set today. The sale price made it well worth it, but even the regular prices on items seemed reasonable.
Jigar helped me out a LOT. He was honest, open, and very sweet. He took time to get to know me and figure out what I was looking for. I never felt any pressure whatsoever. Even if I hadn't made any purchase, it felt like he would be super kind and treat me the same. He was very thorough while looking up items for me and explaining my payment options. I can't say enough good things about him. It felt more like hanging out with my friends than going to buy furniture.”
“This is a great little shop with japanese books, kitchen supplie, tshirts, stickers, stationery and more. A few things are made in nova scotia and some from japan. This shop is づごいでづ!! :)”
“Purchasing couches has been a nightmare for me, 2 in the last 5 years that have peeled and springs popping out. Jordan was very professional and listened to all of my inquiries on purchasing a new sofa for our living room. He took the time to go through various options and we picked a beautiful sectional that will last us for years to come. The 5 year warranty was very affordable and will include all the pieces we purchased. Mike was very flexible with helping us get great deal on a new TV stand as well and got us same day delivery on a Sunday! Thank you Jordan and Mike for all your help!”
“The people who work here are very kind, they have beautiful jewellery, and the clothes are pretty and comfortable! I highly recommend this store to find lots of cool stuff :]”
“Just popped in here because my mom was interested in purchasing something. Then we were offered to observe a demonstration of how pewter is made. Right in front of us the demonstrator assembled the mold and poured to create sand dollar shape. It was very interesting and definitely made us more interested in purchasing! If you’re in here try to see a demonstration.”
“Cute things, definitely one of the best for local items and souvenirs. I enjoy the art. The stores so small and crowded felt like I was constantly in someone's way while looking at items to buy. Nothing to do with the items or customer service, just unfortunately the location.”

“What a fun and friendly store to visit. I bought paper products, soap and jewellery.
Had to leave the store as I wanted to purchase so much, so very appealing and organized.
Will come back to Christmas shop. My husband loved it too.”

“Some prices are high in my opinion, but many things are at normal prices. And the most important thing that attracts people to this store is the style of the goods here. You can find a lot of beautiful things, from a simple glass to a big furniture. I would say that it’s very cool to come here not for the sake of making a big purchase, but to specifically select the style of your home. We will definitely return here in the future with my wife.
Oh, there was a first time in my life when I saw such a cool toilet room: the tap is capable to wash and dry your hands, and there is a metal "horseshoe" on the door at the bottom so that you can open it with your foot and not get your hands dirty again. Great idea.”

“Good inventory with mutliple choices. Prices are good and it is definitely worth stopping in to see what they have, plus you can check their online store as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful.”
“Definitely the best place to shop For birthday gifts, impulse lunch break purchases, and the perfect thing you didn’t know you needed. I found so many gifts and trinkets here not to mention the music is always bangin’”
“The only place that carries Sid Dickens limited edition tiles I collect! The best store since A Step Up closed years ago. Been going there regularly since they were in Spring Garden Place. 5****”
“Great store with lots of things to look at. Building is fairly accessible friendly to get into the store. Lots of things inside though that one would have to move around.”
“Excellent store have never been to Linen Chest at least don’t think I have but we really enjoy this store and Dartmouth has some great shopping options!!!

“God bless urban outfitters for contributing to keeping Barrington street alive. They remain a go-to for popping in when we are in the area to see what vinyls they have in stock (usually a different selection than Taz which is cool). Also have genuinely good sales on discount items making expensive clothes pretty cheap.Always like to have a good "mall store" easily accessible and right downtown for a change.”

“Great shop with everything you need to decorate your house or buy a gift. The store is easy to reach. There are plenty of free parking spaces right in front of it. The employees are very nice.”
“Whenever I take a trip into the city, I always look forward to visiting The Independent Mercantile Co. - It could be at your 1st time visiting for your 20th time, the staff is always happy to greet you and is super friendly, I could definitely spend hours browsing throughout quirky, yet useful products. As someone who has a home bar, I always look forward to seeing the amazing inventory of barware they have, including several types of bitters and sought-after, Luxardo cherries. If you have not checked out this place, you’re definitely missing out!”
“Most friendly staff I have ever come across in my life . We came in just browsing and ended up buying a knife set and a candle , but the staff was just so helpful not only on what they were selling , but also on advice on places to check out well visiting Nova Scotia. I hope to come back one day just to say hello again .”
“In addition to having some great furniture, the customer service provided by David is above and beyond. Not only did he provide us with good advice, his pleasant personality and assistance made our transaction a 10/10.”
“Love. Ever evolving home beauty and inspiration. I can’t get enough! Unique and one of a kind pieces. In my experience staff are welcoming and unpretentious. A true gem in Halifax.”
“LOVE this store! We bought our Delongi espresso machine & love it. We also bought a white leather lounger that fits perfectly in our livingroom. High quality products. Friendly staff & fantastic service.”
“First time purchasing from this store. Excellent customer service. We arrived close to closing time, and the sales associate was very professional and knowledgeable. We made our purchase at closing time (6PM) and love the new chair. The only downside is that we felt rushed with a 6PM closing time. I live on the other side of the city, and it is almost impossible to get to the store before closing time after work.
Service and product rank as excellent.”

“This location went the distance on customer service!
Recently moved from Ontario to Halifax
Movers lost the Hardware to my Gwen metal frame bed.
Called customer service and they said Structube does not sell hardware but to try calling a store near me. Called and talked with Rylee.
He was able to provide me with most of the missing parts and at least one of each screw size I needed so I could match at a local hardware store. Cannot thank him and the staff enough for providing excellent customer service.”
“I have been shopping at Wheaton’s since it was just a little craft shop in Berwick, N.S. it is definitely my favourite gift shop. I am the proud owner of a big Wheatons wing back chair and other of their pine pieces. What is better than supporting a local business!”
