“I just wanted to praise this business for the kindness they showed me at the beginning of the week. I had a full tire blow out on the 101 heading home to Prince Edward Island on Sunday (July 16). I couldn’t get my spare tire off, and the towing company didn’t offer to help. They towed me to the nearest shop, which just so happened to be Andy’s. Charged me $150.00, and left me stranded for the evening as it being a Sunday they were closed. I left my keys behind, and got a ride back to some families house outside of Halifax. As soon as they opened, I called them and explained the situation I was in, and they promptly took care of it. I was not able to pick my truck back up until after closing hours, and offered to pay over the phone. They did not give me a dollar amount, and said take care, this one’s on us. Have a safe trip back. I picked up my truck, they had my spare tire on, and a new-ish tire on the rim that failed me in the bed of my truck. They left a note reminding me to re-torque my tires, and to have a safe travel. Honestly guys, I was having one of those weeks where life has been kicking me while I was down, and feeling taken care of like that really set the trajectory of the rest of my week. I really appreciate the compassion this business offered me, and I won’t soon forget it. I live in PEI, but I was born and raised in NS. I will be back in the future to buy my tires from these guys, and so will my family members. Thank you.”
“I got a flat tire while travelling in the area all the way from NB. Supposed to go home the next day! OK Tire Bayers Lake was the only tire shop that was able to pull a miracle. Sale rep was not only friendly, but able to find a replacement tire AND schedule me in same day! Big thank you to the sales rep who was able to take care of me, thank you Rosie! However, when I called Coast Tire on Young Street and spoke with (Amy?) she was exceptionally cheerful, professional, and told me to bring my car in and they would take care of me. She made the process so easy.Sure enough, the process was easy, and the tech did an excellent job on the car.A huge should out to the team at Coast Tire on Young Street. Stellar service!”
