Fine dining on the eastern shore. The dishes were inspired, well executed and delicious. The room was cozy, and the servers were welcoming and attentive. A wonderful experience.

We enjoyed an exquisite seven-course tasting menu at Lupin last night. Everything was delicious and the service was warm and inviting. The food was perfectly prepared without being overly fussy or straining for effect--the perfect blend of comfort and artistry. What a treat for us, visitors from Manhattan!

Never have I payed so much money for so little! The so called 7 course dinner a few Fridays ago amounted to a mere 7 appetizer presentation including 2 deserts. I was hoping for a substantial main course finale - "where's the beef" but it amounted to a mere 2 ounce slice of halibut adorned with some kind of topping. Had to stop for take out pizza after this...will never return...

We chose Lupin for our wedding reception after searching far and wide for something special. Having only moved to Nova Scotia after many years overseas, we have dined in some outstanding places around the world, and wanted a meal that would meet the occasion. I can honestly say, however, that Lupin is right up there with the best places I have eaten at.
Kim is a talented chef, and is creating something extraordinary with her garden to table, tasting menu concept. For our wedding menu, we opted to put our faith in Lupin, and we were not disappointed - every course was a delight. The setting, the ambience and the communication we received about our event were all exceptional, and every one of the staff were warm and welcoming.
We are so grateful for Kim and what she is doing. The future can only be bright! We feel lucky to have been able to spend part of our wedding day at Lupin, and will be back for a smaller occasion soon!

Delicious and actually worth it. All of the food was beautifully cooked, intricate and balanced. Nothing felt heavy or over seasoned. I’ve gone to other tasting menus and find them lacking creativity and just not worth the price or the drive.
I always have higher expectations with higher prices and so many places leave me disappointed.
This one though? I’ll definitely have to come back. I was basically licking each plate clean.
The only slight negative I had was that dinner takes 3 hours to serve. You better enjoy the company you’re with because 90% of the time you’re waiting. Make sure you’re not starving before you go. Luckily I was prepared
Cocktails were good but it’s not a full bar so they were pretty simple.
Their backyard farm is very cute, I’m jealous of their fire setup. Great atmosphere, lots of mosquito coils so you don’t have to worry about being eaten alive.

Recently attended Lupin's Garden Cocktail party. It was perfect! the food was amazing and the price point was excellent for fine dining small plates experience. I highly recommend Lupin.!!!
Dietary restrictions: Excellent attention to detail and special dietary needs ...completely automated electronic.

We've went here for my friends birthday. The cost is outrageous for the portion sizes. I left hungry. We arrived at 6pm and did not leave until 11pm.. the service was ridiculously slow... The kicker is that one person could not make it and they still charged us for their meal!! And we didn't even give us the food. Robbery. I can not recommended this place. Rubbish.

I love this place! The food is amazing and the attention to detail is fabulous. A few weeks ago I went to a outdoor garden and food tasting event there and it was so much fun. What could be better than eating outside by a lovely fire. I keep thinking about the lamb tacos, the lobster roll and that great beet dish. Compliments to the chef!!!

I have eaten at Lupin a few times now and each time I really enjoy myself. The food is delicious, the service is good and definitely not stuffy. Lupin and its gardens are such a special place, I look forward to going each time!
