About Musquodoboit Trailway trailhead
The Musquodoboit Trailway offers over 41 km of non-motorized, world class hiking opportunities for you and your family, maintained by a small crew of motivated volunteers & funded by grants/donations. Walk or cycle the 15 km Rail Trail to explore the diverse, natural landscape bordering the Musquodoboit River and its birds, small mammals, and unique flora. The Rail Trail is also an anchor for 26 km of backcountry trails that track the granite ridges of the White Lake and Ship Harbour-Long Lake wilderness areas, of varying levels of difficulty & solitude. Please be aware that camping and setting fires are NOT PERMITTED in Protected Wilderness Areas. Please leave the trails in a better state than you found them, and leave no trace.
