Very poor service.
My wife recently booked an appointment for a tire change, and the woman on the phone quoted us a price of $80. However, when we arrived, the man inspecting our car was unfriendly. No one informed us when the tire change was finished; we only found out by chance when we went to check, and the car was already done. We were initially pleased with the quick service, but when we went inside to pay, we were surprised to be quoted a price that was $50 higher than what we had been told.
When my wife mentioned the lower price she was quoted over the phone, the man, who was busy serving other customers, insisted that couldn’t be true. He claimed he had answered the phone all day and never gave that price, but it wasn’t him on the phone when my wife called. In effect, he publicly accused my wife of lying. This was upsetting and unprofessional. Eventually, they reluctantly agreed to honor the originally quoted price for this visit but said we’d have to pay the higher price next time.
This experience left a bad impression. The lack of courtesy and the way our concerns were dismissed make it unlikely we’ll return to Kal Tire. I also wouldn’t recommend it to friends, as I wouldn’t want them to have a similarly disappointing experience.

When I went into this shop, there was a Customer there that was WILD about his directional tires being put on wrong on a Big Delivery style truck... but mistakes happen so I went ahead with the Alignment, fairly simple task for a "Tire Shop". A few hours after I dropped my truck off I got a call from the Kal Crew told me they can't do an alignment on my F150 without a camber kit installed, I decided to just leave and not have the work done. On my way home, my truck started shaking really bad, so I pulled over. What I saw made my stomach turn. My Lugs were missing, upon further inspection, not only my Lugs were missing but 4 out of 6 Studs were sheared off. I don't know how an incompetent company like this would get 4.7 stars but BUYER BEWARE at this shop. Not Recommended at all and I will be paying them a visit, they have some serious explaining to do.

In April, a few girls and I were on our way to the city for a bachelorette party when a pot hole blew 2 tires on the highway right on the New Minas exit. We called Kal Tire and they told us to come in. (Thanks to the lovely gentleman & his wife that stopped to help us put a donut tire on). We were SO grateful for the amazing service and great prices! And they even stayed after hours to make sure we got back on the road safely! I definitely recommend these guys. HUGE thanks for all of your help that day! (It’s been a while so I could be wrong, but I believe their names were Jim and Paige❤️, thank you forever!)

Our rental car had a flat tire just outside of New Minas. We went to like 6 stores and most of them couldn't even look at the car that day. A Midas next door put a donut on there which... Why even bother. After that we went to these guys. I think it was Paige at the register. She got us in, replaced the tire, gave us options on what we could or could not replace, and tried to work with our rental company. Prices were reasonable too. We seriously wouldn't have been able to make our ferry or flight without them

I visited this location to get an alignment and was pleasantly surprised with their quality of service. The man working the counter was knowledgeable and professional. My vehicle had an issue so they phoned me to discuss my options. I'm very picky but I am comfortable recommending this shop to others. Thanks for the great service.

The whole crew is amazing. They provide excellent service. They efficiently address vehicle issues and offer transparent communication about repairs. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they are very patient with you and ready to explain all the issues properly, love love love Kal Tire!! ❤️

Went to get my breaks done. Paige and the other mechanic who worked on my car were really good in explaining me what is causing the problem. Great thanks to the mechanic who take the extra effort to get the job done, when they only have 2hrs to close. Unfortunately the part shop sent the wrong part and 3 people have to work an extra hour after there closing time. The hourly labour rate seems to be bit higher than the other places that I have been. Again can’t complaint because they provide Great customer service.

If there were 10 stars to give, they wouldn't be enough. Paige and team are, hands down, the best tire replacement service I've ever had. Right from the time I emailed asking for quotes until Paige handed back my keys, the process was fast, friendly and they charged me, TO THE PENNY, what they originally quoted me. Thank you, Ron, for sending me all of those tire quotes and getting back to me so quickly every time.Paige, who did the tire swap, took to time to test the TPMs (Tire Pressure Monitors), she went over the payment options I had using Flexiti AND she explained the included services and warranties I had with Kal Tire.If you're not taking your vehicle to Kal Tire in New Minas, you're taking it to the wrong place.

I came in with a flat tire two hours before closing without an appointment and walked away with my tire repaired for $40! All of the staff were very friendly as well.

The people at Kal Tire in new Mina's ns Were excellent. Though they weren't able to help with my mechanical issues, they personally called several auto repair places untill one could get me fixed today. I would highly refer people to them, and will go to Kal Tire in North at On. Where we reside. This again guys.

I came in here to get my tire patched, and Jim was super helpful, very polite. The patch was fast, they repaired it, put my tire back on the truck, and remounted the spare tire back under the truck. While we waited, a lady named Paige came out and helped my wife and me. They have complimentary coffee and tv there to watch while you wait. Comfortable chairs. Paige seemed excited about some renovation they have planned coming up, to make the place more comfortable, but my wife and I would come back for sure, even without renovations. Best of all, everything was less than $40. All around it was enjoyable!
