Kent Building Supplies

Home Improvements
Hours: Kent Building Supplies has been providing exceptional service, knowledge, and quality products to its customers for over 45 years. With 48 retail locations across the Atlantic provinces and a team of over 3,400 associates, the company is dedicated to being the best source of home improvement products. Their mission is to offer Friendly, Knowledgeable People, Superior Service, Quality Products, Great Prices, and Guaranteed Satisfaction. Customers praise the excellent customer service they have received at Kent, with one reviewer stating they were "in and out with what we needed within minutes." Another customer was pleased that the store stayed open longer than other places for end-of-season plant sales, catering to the needs of gardeners. The staff is described as "extremely pleasant and friendly," and the return process is quick and painless. However, not all experiences have been positive. One customer had difficulty finding a specific item, with the store's computer inventory system showing it as out of stock, even though it was listed in the flyer. After multiple visits, a helpful staff member eventually located the item on a high shelf, but the overall service was disappointing, especially on weekends when staff seemed less engaged. Overall, Kent Building Supplies is praised for its wide range of products, competitive prices, and generally excellent customer service, though some room for improvement in inventory management and staff engagement has been noted.
