Very interesting village, set in 1840's. These are original buildings, refurbished to reflect the time period. Potter, Chair maker, blacksmith, weaver , candle maker, school teacher, wife, photographer, ...all reinactors to explain their occupations and the times.

What an amazing walk back in time. The place is absolutely beautiful, the staff are so kind and knowledgeable and there are lots of washrooms as well for your convenience. Thoroughly enjoyed our day there. Lots of seats to look out over the river, and watch the geese too.

Such a fun and interesting place to visit. The staff and actors were so pleasant during and after their hours of operation. Definitely worth a visit!
