Jenn, the assistant manager is quite rude and unprofessional. She wrongly accused my partner and I of taking a $3 lattice without paying EVEN THOUGH we were still out in the lumber yard. She came running and screaming “ did you pay for that” uhhh? We’re still shopping so no?. We come to Kent weekly and the staff is always so friendly. She clearly hates her job and might consider leaving. Worst customer service. Shame on you Jenn. 0/5

Wanted to buy a window that was damaged and one boss in there said I could have an additional 15 percent off and then a different boss wouldn't give me the discount. Horrible customer service from supervisor

Excellent customer service, but anything under warranty, they didn't replace on the spot, when it was clearly in stock at the store. I was given a 1-800 number and that was it. No fault of the customer service representative, not great when something needs to be replaced asap. ie. Expensive Water Taps.

Dec 19 2022 They literally stole $257 from me. I purchased a few products online and went to pick them up. The young man working the register made several mistakes and appeared to be lost. He(cashier) had to be helped by a senior staff member as he was not qualified for the job he was currently trying to do. After getting home I realized I was charged an additional $257 during my trip home. I called them and they said it was an accident, but there was nothing they could do. I would have to deal with some other company(runs their online purchases). Never received a penny back from either company. Very exciting to have that much money taken a week before Christmas. My card statement says Kent received the money. By now they would have realized they were $257 over, and decided to keep my money. Tempted to get the police involved, but that would make this a worse headache.

Very clean store great selection of products and prices are comparable to other similar stores in the area and always have good deals and sales

Kent is ok but there returns are horrible if your returning something. Watch what your buying and there return policy at kents .it's very deceiving

You should be able to give zero stars. I have never seen customer service so poor in any industry. We purchased a window and a door on May 30th. These had to be ordered in. Each time they were expected and hadn’t arrived we would call the store to find out that the order not only wasn’t in but IN FACT still hadn’t even been placed. Each time it was like starting from square 1 with the employee having zero clue or ability to find the order despite the fact that each time we were Guarenteed it was put in. Even talking to managers, getting basic things like a proof of purchase for the items is like you are pulling teeth. The issue with the window happened 4 times and going into September is still not in. Remember we placed this order in may and were told 6 weeks. Every time we call it is guaranteed it’s been placed and will be 6 weeks. The door has been “ordered” 5 separate times and when calling this morning still is not ordered. In fact the employee was actually unwilling to go bother the management as they were in a meeting with “ bigwigs”. This is a purchase plus mortgage and us receiving 12,000 is contingent on these upgrades being done. We have had to carry the mortgage now for 2 extra months not being able to get the items in which is 2000 in costs and prevented the renters from moving in which is a loss of thousands more. The ineptitude is absolutely staggering and I am stunned this place is still in business. It’s top to bottom as well, we have spoke with Managers who also show such low initiative to fix the problem and general laziness that it boggles your mind they are in a position to support others and really demonstrates why the staff they employe haven’t been able to simply place an order for a door and a window for months. Honestly just can’t wait to be done with this place and never use them again***Edit*** I have updated to 3 stars solely based on the service and Help from Ray.

Very friendly, knowledge staff. Good selection of products. Store is open with lots of room to move around with large items. It is dog friendly which makes shopping when we have our dog easy
