This is a joke of a bankGot off the cruise ship and tried to exchange money for Canada eh. Said I need a account before any transactions. So I spent the next 45 minutes of my vacation having fun, setting up a account and deposited cash getting my ATM card with photo only to close the account 1 minute after to have my monies replaced with Canadian money.

I got scammed $387.27 and they closed my bank account and treated me like a criminal when I am a victim don't deal with bank of Montreal they only care about politics and money that comes with their corporation they don't care about people at all only politics and money thank God I found a more honest and better financial institution

Super long lines and only one or two tellers who are taking their time just chatting about sports etc with people. No sense of urgency at all especially when you have a line out the door. Makes no sense

I have a mortgage with them. Have been trying to get in contact for over two weeks. Left multiple messages, placed call back request online. Nothing. Tried branch multiple times today and got a busy signal. A busy signal at a bank? Trying 800 number and am at 16 mins on hold so far. This is ridiculous. Yes it's COVID, but how can I not talk to a human? Would not recommend.

I had a fraud issue $2,700 taken out of my acct by etransfer which I didnt send. Went into bank on Prince St Sydney and I was so impressed with the customer service I receive. I FILLED OUT PAPERS ANSWERED A FEW QUESTIONS . I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HOW EFFICIENT SHE HANDLED MY SITUATION. Within 2 wks my monies was back into my acct

Only way to describer is atrocious. Since May became involved as Executor to an estate. On April 30 met with rep. of the bank, and got an update of all accounts. She was unable to answer the question of being able to remortgage to pay outstanding debts - had to send a query on this with a response on May 4th. July 12had another scheduled meeting. It was decided that to make accounting simpler that everything related to the estate would be through the checking account. Checks issued, but
