Today I had an upsetting experience at Kenny’s Pizza and the Circle K gas station, both located in downtown Sydney. I asked to use the restroom and was refused the key. I understand that downtown businesses deal with real challenges—especially with drug use and people using washrooms in unsafe ways. I completely respect the need for caution.
I’ve supported them regularly, and yet, there was zero acknowledgment or respect when I simply asked to use the washroom. I was turned away like I didn’t matter—no consideration, no basic human courtesy.
Yes, policies exist for a reason. But employees should also be able to exercise judgment. Not every person who walks in is a problem. Sometimes, it’s just someone who needs to use the washroom, nothing more.
Because of the way I was treated, I’ve decided I won’t be returning to Kenny’s Pizza or Circle K downtown. I know nobody cares—but I do.

Just here to get propane tank filled. Was told that other stuff in the store takes priority over a customer. Not to busy to stand around, but too busy to serve.. worst service... whoever owns this franchise needs to get their act together. Utterly BS

The Circle K service station/convenience store on George Street will not provide free air after filling your tank full of gas. I've never seen this before. Generally speaking service stations provide free air to customers who fill up on gas and do not nickel and dime them an extra two bucks for some air after they've just thrown $90 or $100 worth of petrol in their tank. I think this is a pretty miserly, churlish practice. And I know it is not Circle K policy, because I lived across the road from one in Halifax and always got free air after filling my tank. In this age of runaway inflation and high prices, with the price of gasoline approaching European levels, that Circle K sees fit to nickel and dime you for air just after you have filled your tanks with their gasoline is both petty and penurious. I know that other service stations in the area will happily provide you with free air after purchasing their gasoline. Two stars Circle K, George Street.

What a nice way to find out your women's bathroom doesn't lock to be having a pee and someone else walks in. Fix your door

Friendly, efficient staff. They always have enough people working cash so there's never any long wait to get served.

The store makes you feel like you are a thief each time you are in there. The up sell on products is to a level of frustration and makes you not want to return.
