It was our first time here and it was fantastic , the original owner of the campground joined us at the community fire pit and it was entertaining . Our campsite was absolutely stunning and the amenities were terrific already booked our next stay there

The 100 Islands, 100 Minutes Adventure tour is absolutely breathtaking! Such a unique spot, no other place like it. It's a hidden gem in NS. Would highly recommend.

very nice campground in a very nice location. The campground was very well maintained and beautifully decorated. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The campfire in the evening and the coffee in the morning are a nice surprise and something you won't find again so quickly. The sanitary facilities are clean. Dishwashing facilities for tent guests and minivans. I had a good time there and hope that everyone gets through the post-tropical storm Lee well without major damage. I'll be happy to come back

My wife and I plus our pets stayed here on the September Long weekend. When we first got there we noticed our lot was slanted more than it looked in the pictures, but we had all the material to level our trailer. So no issue there. When we noticed only one washroom station (1 shower, 3 toilets), we were concerned about this too but then I swear it was cleaned about 3 times a day at least. That was phenomenal, the staff were great, very quick at cleaning empty sites. My only disappointment was there was no “Murphy’s campground hat” as I wanted to buy one. Maybe next time as we would definitely come back for sure. There is so much more awesome things I want to say. It was a great time there.

Update — I received a very sincere email from Murphy’s with apologies for the lack of communication. They were very understanding of the situation and provided a refund. We will try to stay at a future time if we are in Nova Scotia again. My original post:We were scheduled to stay the night that Hurricane Lee made landfall. Murphy’s did not offer any kind of compensation, and their communication with me was poor. They sent me many emails after we made our reservation for add-ons and upgrades. But when it came to customer service during a hurricane, they didn’t bother to communicate or offer compensation.

Realy quiet to boring as there is Nothing to else do outside the boat ride or kayaking. The lots are way smaller than expected. Totally disapointed with this camping. I do not recommand it if you are going with a trailer over 20 feet long.

Our tenting site was smaller than expected, but location was great. The campground has a small, family feel about it and was clean, quiet and peaceful - exactly what we were looking for. The washrooms/shower block was small but was being cleaned regularly it seemed and was very clean - great job! There was a small communal campfire in the evening we were there which we joined and soon realized one couple there were the owners! Very nice to spend time with them and chat - unexpected and a nice touch. Beautiful views from this campground.

Small campground with a friendly atmosphere and beautiful scenery! Facilities were well kept, bathroom was clean and enjoyed a nice chill and chat in the Sailor's Rest while I recharged my phone and had my morning coffee. Spent a day at nearby Clam Harbour beach which was a lovely sand beach and the water was so warm (but the current a bit scary). Unfortunately, didn't have a chance to go out in a boat and explore the islands but would love to go back and try it.

A Must Do! We took a tour with Murphy’s Boat Tour to one of the most beautiful wild islands in the world. Pristine beaches, gorgeous scenic views and top notch East Coast hospitality. If you have the chance to go, take it. A true summer highlight and an unforgettable experience and memory that will last a lifetime. On behalf of our group (two best friends visiting with three kids) we say :Thank you and see you next year!!

We booked 6 nights and left after the first night. Nice views but they pack you in so tight it is worse than threading a needle in the dark. Fortunately, we had other guests assist us in backing into a very narrow spot. We were so tightly packed we could hear the neighbour cough in his motorhome. To top it off the water is not potable and the dump station is on such a slant, it is impossible to empty your tanks fully. We won't be going there anymore

Beautiful spot along Murphy's cove. Not much to do around but beautiful views every day. We found the spots a bit small.. like to the point where we couldn't fit our dinette tent with the 2 other tents and truck. But other then that it was nice. The Murphy's are a nice family and have lots of history.

Beautiful spot!! The staff were very friendly and the whole campground was very clean, the tent spot we were on was on the smaller side but it was workable. Nice and quiet and a lovely location.

Murphy's camping is very much not what we were expecting or what was presented on their website.1. We booked a site (and paid an extra fee to guarantee the site) that is presented on the website as one of their post popular sites due to its 'privacy and ocean view'. The site was neither private or with an ocean view. All of the campsites are very close together, some even side by side with little to no trees/buses as privacy barriers to the next site. As for the 'ocean view' you'll see from the photo attached that there is absolutely no view of the ocean from our site - most of the campsites had this 'view' and there were very few sites that actually had a view of the ocean.2. The website suggests there is a beach, when we arrived we asked where the beach was so we could go and were told the closest beach was a nearby provincial park which was a 20 minute drive away. We went every day and it was beautiful, though disappointed there's no beach at the campground as suggested. There was also brochures at the campground that advertised local lobster being available, when we asked about this we were directed to a place 10 minutes down the road to go buy lobster. Also didn't see any mussel boils even though the website says they happen nightly. Also want to mention that quiet hours were in no way respected by some of the other campers - from 7am onwards, some campers around us were playing loud music etc. Needless to say, the campground was not what was advertised on their website in many ways. If you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful and private camping experience, do not go here.
