Super cool train car inn!The owners have taken these old train cabooses and renovated the insides so it's a cool east coast, cottage vibe inside. There's a common area train car with boardgames that's attached to the restaurant we also went to and had some delicious food (kinda pricey, but it's an experience). There's also a little Cafe in the actual train station (which is the original station) with a whole bunch of train memorabilia, and a little shop with gifts and such, a bunch of nerdy stuff for sale in there too which was cool. Super small town, lots of shops with mostly home decor. There's a brewery which is pretty cool, and a chocolate shop which is also fun! All in all, great experience.Rooms: Old train cars that are really well renovated on the insidemFood & drinks: The restaurant is a whole experience, you have to reserve, but we literally just reserved 30min ahead of time and they fit us in. We went in the off season, (September) though, so it might be busier during the summer.

Every once in a while, there's a place where you just HAVE TO stay. The Train Station Inn happened to be that place.Although the rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was great - you're really going for the experience that you can't get at anywhere else. It was just fun walking around the grounds looking at all the Railway cars, and the railroad paraphernalia. It was just fun going to sleep in a train caboose, and hopefully something I get to do again. Do yourself a favour, and stop in here.Food & drinks: The dining car was another wonderful experience. The food was tasty and the service was great.Noteworthy details: Fun.

Took a peek inside the train and was pleasantly surprised. What a great way to enjoy a holiday in carriages set up for overnight accommodation. Very pretty place.

Booked a night for an enthusiastic train fan. The location, the facilities, and the service did not disappoint. We had a super time.

The staff was awesome, informative, and attentive. It was a unique experience. We had 3 cars between two nights; Carole was top notch. New, clean, lots of outlets, peaceful. Caboose 4 was a bit stuffy and had a leaky ceiling but it was pouring. Boxcar Jimmie was quaint with a nice bathroom. Overall cute and fun experience. It was a nice place to stop for a night. We saw deer and bald eagles on the trail behind the inn. That was a lovely walk. Don’t miss the farmers market next door.

It's a very unique hotel and an amazing idea. You can see a lot of love went into the train cars. The unit was very clean and well maintained. However the pullout couch was so bad we had to take the mattress on the floor and you still could feel every springs (kids didn't sleep at all so we switched and as a result I didn't get any sleep and my back is quite sore today . It's time for a replacement. The food was average but poeple were friendly. You can take very nice picture and the kids will have a blast.

Delightful and unique. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Decor was charming. Rail trail makes for lovely and scenic walking. Dinner in the dining car was delicious and plentiful with very fast service. Cafe in the station has excellent coffee and pastries, and the shop is cute and quirky. All the staff were wonderful. Not great for the mobility challenged, but I think any age would find it a great stay. Remember... they're rail cars, bathrooms are tiny.Nearby activities: Nice walk to town or on the trail. Highly recommend the Saturday morning market about a 2 minute walk away.Walkability: Trail is wide and well groomed although also used by ATVs. I love walking and thought the distance to town minorFood & drinks: Great cafe and dining carNoteworthy details: So unique and fun

If you are looking for an unique experience this is the place to go! Fully converted train cars made into rooms and a dining car. We didn't eat there. Gift shop and park with a walking trail. Plenty of parking. Another large tavern with a good variety of pub food just a few hundred feet away. ?

We absolutely loved it!! Wish we had booked more than one night. It was actually cheaper than 2 rooms in an ordinary hotel. We even played a couple games of washer toss. Took a walk to the old train bridge. We will definitely be back again soon! Very unique place. We stayed in 8 different places in two weeks and of all them, this was our favorite!

We stayed in car #9. It was my wife and I and our two kids. The train car was amazing and we all enjoyed it and slept well. It was a really nice day to go as well as they had live music and a barbeque. We all had the burgers which were great and I also had the southwest salad which I really enjoyed. One thing to note with the train car is that it's authentic. I'm a larger man and the toilet was a bit of a tight squeeze. This was our second visit here and we'll definitely be back!

Ate in the dining car. One of the meals arrived cold. Sent back and veg where cold and salmon warm. Sauce was missing for the salmon. Had discussion with the waitress Jennifer but no real apology or any adjustment not the bill.
