I recently moved from Toronto. Used to go to Planet Fitness. Recently took a membership here. Tbh I am really disappointed about everything.1. It's so expensive. Does it even give satisfaction compared to what I am paying? No.2. It's so small. I was expecting it to be big but not really. They do have all the machines but very limited.3. People are nice. I feel comfortable and it's not usually that busy.Overall it's fine.

This is a great gym. There's lots of equipment for whatever type of workout you're looking to complete on a given day, and the community of people that train there seem to be friendly. I liked the vibe here. Also, the individual working the front desk while I was there...I think it was Satie (I hope I'm getting that right) was super friendly and I noticed her greeting a majority of members by name - can't beat that. This is the place to train if you're in Truro.

Was recently in Truro and had a nice experience at the GoodLife Fitness there. All the stations were clean and in good working condition, there was always plenty of spray and towels for wiping down equipment. Anytime I was there, there were never any issues with waiting for equipment. If I was in the area again I would not hesitate to go back there.

I have enjoyed very much for over a year now working out at ? ?♂️GoodLife in Truro?♂️. The gym is large and very clean. The gym manager, Debbie, can be seen on many occasions leading the way in house keeping and sanitizing equipment. Seeing Debbie lead the way shows that she has heart ❤️ and cares for the community that embodies her gym ?️♂️?.In my time that I have been a member I have seen that we all have our own unique story but very similar goals that bind us into the strong ? community we are. Both the members and the staff are excellent, friendly and always leave you feeling better about yourself. The Truro location really earns the name GoodLife!

Unstaffed, which is fine. But their prison style door they use for access to the gym will lock you out, if you forget something in the car. There's no signs to warn you of this. No options for out of town patrons. You're stuck wasting 30 minutes or more for the door to allow you to re use your access card, so you can retrieve any items you left inside in your gym bag.It is Truro after all. Can't be too surprised. 1/5 for inefficiency.

The gym itself isn’t all that bad honestly. The only problem which is a big problem is you can’t get into contact with anyone on the phones there. Been trying to call now for 3 weeks and it just rings.I’ve been in there enough times to know the workers are just not answering the phones.

They process payments even when you freeze your membership, but they do it in 2 or 3 transactions rather than 1. So in the long run I was charged 3 NSF fees even though I froze my membership. I’m never joining any Goodlife again.

Great gym but definitely needs a platform squat rack with wide weights for deadlifts.

Been going here for about a month so far. paid 50 dollars to sign up and 27.99 bi weekly. Then the following day seen ads for 9.99 sing up fees. which I understand if the ad wasn't up the day I signed up or maybe I needed to sign up online. They no longer offer classes I'm assuming because of covid, but I assumed they would be starting up again. Staff have no idea if they ever will start in person classes again. I Was trying this whole month to connect to the TV's to listen to while I workout on the tread mill and finally today decided to ask someone, but again they don't offer that service anymore and have no idea when or if they ever will. I will probably start looking else where for a gym membership

Couldn't get in the door because there is no reader for QR code from app. Once someone let me in, I asked for a towel but they don't offer towel service. I didn't pack a towel so I couldn't work out. Big disappointment. Is this happening at other good life clubs even though my membership states free towel service?
