D&W Swinimers Convenience is a typical convenience store with the added bonus of a kitchen and a dairy bar. It is a busy spot and a good store all around. Everything is good from the breakfast menu to lunch, including amazing takeout food. The burgers are to die for, the donair is amazing and delicious, and the cold cut subs are delicious. The deli meats are great. They also sell ice cream, which is the best in all of Nova Scotia. Their homemade ice cream sandwiches and ice cream sandwich cups are to die for and delicious, and they offer a massive softserve and yummy, affordable ice cream cakes. It is worth a stop for a quick order after work, on a smoking hot day, or for a family picnic. The staff is great, with amazing customer service, and they are worth the wait. It is recommended to order ahead to avoid waiting. Many customers, including those from out of town, will definitely come back.

Very disappointed with the turkey sub I got today , meat was the end piece old dry and shredded, gave most of it to the dog, the little bit I had left an after taste. You should really throw that out when it gets dried out not serving it to customers.

I love the food here, I love sitting at the tables in the back and witnessing the chaos of this place on the first day of summer. Great people and great food. Thanks for the massive softserve on this smoking hot day
