The non scented and natural soaps for dishes and laundry are amazing and surprisingly lower prices than the commercial brands. Bring your own bottle or jar or choose a free reusable containers or purchase a lovely jar to refill. There is a wide selection of natural skin and hair care products, natural deodorants for those with allergies to fragrance and perfumes, I personally went with a Sexy Sadie deodorant, inspected Pur laundry and natural lemon scent Pur dish soap. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Support local and choose a greenier better option.”

“We approached Phinneys after a fiasco at another men's clothing shop, to try and source wedding attire for us about 2 weeks before our wedding. Phinneys not only already had way more products in stock and ready to go than the previous shop but we managed to get everything we needed in one stop and within about 20 minutes. WOW!! Tanya was super helpful and empathetic to our situation and took great care of us. Living in another area of Nova Scotia, for any menswear needs moving forward, we're making the trip to Kentville and recommend that others do as well-you won't regret it!”

“Great selection! I love buying second-hand. Thriftstores, consignment stores, vintage etc. This place did not disappoint. I found a beautiful plant pot, two shirts, a pair of jeans and a great kids book. All for $26.
Saw lots of Lululemon sweaters in great condition and other brands for a fair price. Kentville has some great second-hand shops.”
