I reserved a piece of furniture online and was approved. The day before it was to be delivered the gm called me and said they can’t deliver it to me because the tenant I had didn’t pay their bill. The tenant I had left 7 months ago and I had no control over what they paid or didn’t pay and my name wasn’t on their account but because the former tenant had the account listed at my address Aaron’s wouldn’t let me rent the piece of furniture. For five days I was planning on it and was notified the day before. Also it was only a 16 dollar per week purchase and why am I being punished for the tenants bad behavior. The gm belittled me and made me feel like I was to blame. I have an auto immune disease and chronic back pain and have been sitting in a dining room chair and so I was excited about the couch. But here is the good news. God provides. Rent a center in tallmadge helped me get a couch and they were so kind and respectful. I highly recommend rent a center in Tallmadge, you will get a fair price and be treated with kindness and respect. I do not recommend Aaron’s on Arlington. You will not be treated with kindness and respect.

Placed an online order. Says I was approved for x amount a month, signed a lease and everything. App said pending delivery called the store because they called me. This man tells me that since I had an item in 2008, yes SIXTEEN years ago that I have to physically come into the store and fill out another app (already did online app and was approved) and give them references. I have no way to get there currently so I called and asked if I can just send them my ID, references, and whatever via email they said no.
It is 2024, paper apps are outdated. I don’t care what I did 16 years ago, I am a different person now so don’t let some app approve me and then you want me to come in there and kiss your behind. Rent a center and Eagle rentals are mor le that happy to rent to me.
Ridiculous price asking someone’s time. Why have an online app when it doesn’t even do what it is supposed to do? Guess that overpriced furniture will just sit there.

Placed an order on 10/24/2024. Was told it would take 7 days to get it. Ok fine. Received a call the next day stating that the general manager would call me by Monday. Never received a call and my money was refunded this morning 10/30/2024. No explanation. No call. Just ignored. Say what you will about Rent a Center but at least they tell you what is going on and I never waited more than a day to get what I ordered. No way a general manager needs to approve an order. That is wild.

Ordered through the website just fine, but was called by corporate ten minutes later to say I’ll be refunded and I have to go to the store with no other context. So I called the store and spoke to a guy who knew nothing then transferred me to another guy who also knew nothing about what happened, but at least said he’d place my order right then and it would be ready Monday and he’d call me when it was there. Monday comes and goes and no call. I call the store next day and the man literally says “I’m glad you called, I forgot about you.” So where’s my order that you said would be at the store? Clearly not ordered or else it would be there and you’d have called me. Then he states he still doesn’t know what happened with my order but he’d have to call someone who’d then call me. Wouldn’t you know it- no call came to me! This company clearly doesn’t want my business so I won’t be dealing with them anymore.

I'm not sure why but Aaron's aaron's representatives have told me that if I lived in the ericson and or select other places they would not rent to me. And I had already signed the lease and everything.Why would you even have me sign the lease? After I applied and got approved. Just to tell me that you're not going to rent to me. I feel like Aaron's discriminates against people that have low-income.

The little midget who is the store manager or whatever there thinks he can talk to people any way he feels because he’s never been able to get a better job or move up in the world. Total unprofessionals. I’d go to Eagles across the street where they know how to talk to people.

This place is a complete joke. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Al payment have been made on time except this last one. They call, leave no messages, show up at your house multiple times AFTER the fact I told them I would make the payment on a certain following day. They tell you they’re setting up automatic payments but they don’t!!!! SCAM DO NOT GO
