Warning - do not rent rug cleaners
Service from the guys who helped me was great, but their rug cleaners are old, broken and smell like dog piss. Now my rug smells like dog piss and I don't even own a dog. I will have to either replace it or have it professionally cleaned.

I’m going to average the service I got here, then round down because I had to do half the work myself. I went in to get a heater that was listed as being available. There was only one other customer in the building. When I asked the young lady if they had the heater she said they were not out of the basement yet, and that I should come back the next day. I then ordered the heater and paid for it online. Then asked the more senior service staff for it. His name was Bob, and he promptly fulfilled the order. I know this is a generational thing. The younger staff were virtually useless, and the senior staff were helpful and efficient. 5 stars to Bob!

Would give a zero if I could. I went in to have a replacement car key made and was told it was no problem. Paid for the key there and was told they ordered it and it would arrive in 5-7 days. We never received notification that it arrived and called 3-4 times over the course of over 3 weeks. We were repeatedly told it would be on the next truck. Eventually, we just went into the store to check and were told that, while we paid nearly $200 for the key, they had forgotten to order it. They ordered and overnighted the key then. They called to say it had arrived and to come in anytime. Went in, was told the key person was only in at specific times (why you would not say that when you called and schedule an appointment is beyond me). We make an appointment. Go in, have the key cut, and then learn the iPad used to program the keys is dead. Told to come back after a half hour to allow it to charge. Come back, find out the software used to program the keys is not working. Told we can wait for a repairman, but they have no idea when the repairman would come in. So, a month later - no key and a lot of frustration.

The employees there are so rude it's shocking. Zero help was offered and then I had to listen to them bicker about who would load my order. They didn't have the product that I ordered (top soil) and the worker told me it was 'too bad, it's the same thing' and continued chucking the wrong product into my car. That shop has gone way down hill in the past few years.

Ace Hardware in Wallhaven is fairly small. The staff are helpful and usually can point you in the right direction for your project/s. I’ve gone in there looking for everything from tools to plumbing to grilling. They are quite knowledgeable. Their prices are often a little higher though.

Ace hardware here has its good days and not so good. They can’t keep check staff consistent. I had an e Perrin e with a new middle aged black fellow recently. Today he ignored waiting on me after eyeballing me for discussing a matter with a customer he was trying to ring out but struggled with. So I left my merchandise on the counter walked out saying I’ll come back when he is willing to wait on the customers in front of him. Hope he recovers from any issues he may be carrying at this new job.
