Everyone I interacted with at the Ellet location was so nice and helpful. I think you can tell when a place genuinely has good work culture by how the employees behave as a whole. This is one of those places. They’re just happy to be there. Also, you really can’t beat their prices compared to other hardware stores.

I was in Akron today and needed to find an Ace Hardware. I visited the local store at 2420 Wedgewood Dr., Akron, OH.
I was serviced by Ann who was a fantastic associate. Being a 15 year employee, she was knowledgeable on a variety of things and helped me find and choose several things I needed. She also answered a question for me about the use of polyurethane.
The store was very nice. It seemed fairly new and had a large variety of products to sell. I would highly recommend this store.
As it turned out, the weatherstripping I got worked to replace the existing aluminum strips with rubber where the rubber cracked and ripped off! I couldn’t find a replacement on the Internet. Yay Ace! It’s hard to find personalized service at stores today.

We took windows to get fixed and waited over a week so we picked them up and took them to swan hardware and got them back the same day

Was asked if I needed help with anything pretty quickly. Found what I wanted, looked around a bit and check out was fast and cashier very friendly. Good small hardware you don't have to walk a lot ,which is very hard to do for me these days.
