very rude workers went there to purchase a lawnmower and they were out of the one i wanted i ask the guy can he order me one from online and i can still pay now he told me thats not my job do i look like your daddy and walked off so i ask to speak to the manager and he waa very rude also he told me if i dont like the services go to home depot. me and my friends and family will not be returning

So this complaint is with Ace Hardware overall, I recently stopped in to purchase some Milwaukee pack out storage containers. They have a huge advertisement for.( The more you spend the more you save) With photos of the items that are by Milwaukee and are in the pack out family of storage containers. However, only a select a few of the containers are actually eligible for the promotion. Nowhere does it indicate what SKU numbers are eligible, And there is no one at the store that can tell you any different… Because there is no excuse indicated on the promotion. So after spending 40 minutes in the store, getting together the compartments that I wanted to put together as a unit, and then taking them all the way to the front of the store, waiting in line, and then going to the checkout process with all these items, Unfortunately, the sales clerk tells me that even though I’m spending the $500 that is indicated on the promotion to save 200… I will only be saving $80 and she did not know why. After an hour in the store, I find out that only certain containers can be purchased to get the discount. Of course the ones you need are the ones that are not included, even though they’re all clearly put in the photo on the promotion. At the end of the day, it’s just deceptive and I drove 35 minutes to get to the store spent over an hour and a half figuring out why I would not be saving the promotion and in the end they got me I spent $120 more than I intended because their promotion is designed to do just that So Ace Hardware, you can keep that 120 bucks that you suckered me out of I will never shop in your store again. I don’t care if I have to drive 35 minutes in a different direction I won’t buy so much as a pencil out of your store. And I will divert any of my fellow construction team members from ever shopping there, I’m not a person to leave reviews, but in this case, I believe Ace Hardware has earned It.. Never have been a big fan of Ace Hardware. Everything in there is $10 more Expensive than Home Depot and until this experience, I didn’t mind shopping there when it was close by… But like I said, I will never come in the store again… Ever! If I had more time on my hands, I would turn this over to Ohio Attorney General because it’s deceptive advertising the Bait and switch Routine. I gave it two stars because at least the sales ladies in the store Were polite and apologetic for the “misunderstanding”!

I had a can of paint that was in my garage since last summer. I took it to Ace and asked them to shake it. Heather and Wren kindly did so after making sure the lid wouldn't come off. Great customer service 👏

Placed an order online went to pick it up, paid and the associate was putting it in my car, and I explained what my project was, he then informed me that I had purchased the wrong product, he then explained what I needed and that they had this item in stock, thank you for saving me a trip back.

Have all the tools locked up and no one working at the store to help you. Went in for a pair of pliers and just left because they were locked up with no one in site to help. They have nothing in stock. If it wasn’t 2 minutes from my house I would never go here again. Gladly will drive an extra 10 minutes to a real store like Home Depot.

Love having an ace in our area always have helpful employees don't like how they put locks on tools it's very inconvenient takes away from shopping experience lets be honest it's easy to get them off if wanted to steal them. Also great place to bring screens if need repaired
