Called this pharmacy to see if my daughter’s prescription had been called in and asked how much it was as I was told it was very expensive. A pharmacist by the name of Maria told me it was there but no she couldn’t give me a price because it was in line with a “ hundred other prescriptions “ and I’d have to wait until she filled it to get a price, which would have been fine if she hadn’t had an attitude about it. I got an automated call about an hour later telling me it was ready to pick up, so I had to call them again for a price. They should have called me personally with the price when it was ready. I have been using them for many years and the customer service has always been poor. This was the last straw and I will be transferring my entire family’s prescriptions elsewhere.

I left Walgreens b/c of long wait times and perceived if not deliberate incompetence . I was so refreshed. I was greeted very quickly, our transaction was efficient and enjoyable.

The Staff at this Pharmacy are Professional, Kind, Accurate, and Fast. My doctor sent a prescription for an antibiotic over to them, and they let me know it was ready before I even got out of the Doctor's Office, which was very helpful because I was very sick and didn't want to have to wait around for a prescription to be ready. They always get my prescriptions right, and they are Always speedy and kind. They are the Best in our Area.

I want to support a regional chain, but, well, this pharmacy doesn't help the cause. The first issue I had was when I called in a prescription and when I went to pick it up a couple hours later they apologized because they didn't have the medicine available there. Why didn't they call me before I made a pointless trip? Okay. forgivable. But then a second incident occurred that could have been more serious. I picked up a refill for my daughter, who insisted that what they gave us was different from what she'd been taking for 3 months. When I questioned the pharmacist he apologized for having filled it incorrectly the previous time. So she'd been taking the wrong medication for 3 months. Alhough it did cause some issues, we were fortunate they weren't life-threatening. Nevertheless, they didn't volunteer that they'd made a mistake until we questioned it, nor did they refund the money for 3 months of a medication that hadn't been prescribed.

I keep giving Acme chance after chance with their meat because it's convenient to buy all my groceries in one place. I'm always disappointed, for instance I made a huge batch of chili this weekend. I didn't have time to go somewhere else for ground beef. 3 bowls in and three bone chips later I will end up pitching the rest of it. How can that be possible?! I don't understand why we cannot get good beef in this area, it's not like there's a shortage of cows in Ohio.

This Acme Fresh Market is slightly better than their location on Market Street about ten minutes east. It store itself is slightly bigger but the other location has more convenient parking. There is also a little more selections from the groceries, produce, and deli, among others. Quality is about the same.

Pretty good here. Good selection and good deli. Clean place. I did get in an "argument" with someone at the customer service desk about a discount that should have applied, they did apply it in the end. That said, they have killer sales, and I will continue to go here as needed.

As my neighborhood grocery store, I like it. I was an Aldi shopper before I moved to Fairlawn and grew to really dislike the local Aldi. Plus, my husband is from Akron and grew up with Acme, so he turned me on to this place. The prices are pretty high unless you only buy their sale items, which for me is not hard to stick to since I'm not picky. Bratwurst on sale this week? That's what I'll be eating. Shrimp on sale the next week? Shrimp for dinner it is. Seriously, if you shop their sales, you get a bang for your buck. Make sure you get an Acme card if you shop here or you miss most deals. The store is clean, spread out and associates are usually nice. Also the liquor, wine & beer selection is expansive! If you live in the area I recommend as your go-to store but have other options on your radar for deals you might miss here.
