Walking into the store was not a hospitable experience. The workers were standing there talking and didn't acknowledge that I walked in, no welcome, didn’t ask if I needed help with anything my whole entire visit there. I found a cute graphic tee, was a bit pricy but I got it anyways. Im standing in line, the cashier is laughing and asking how the lady’s experience was who was checking out in front of me. She goes on to say how all these people went out their way to help her out and how friendly everyone was. They were chatting about her good experience. I get to the counter to check out, his face immediately looses its smile. I thought that was odd. He proceeded to ask me if I got help today I said no, and I wasn't greeted at the door as well, no one came to ask if I needed help either. He looks at me and says “ Well, we cant be perfect”. I knew IMMEDIATELY what the vibes were, he wouldn’t have EVER fixed his mouth to say that to any other woman that TYPICALLY patronizes this establishment. I asked him why do you have an attitude? You literally just asked me how your customer service was, I told you, now you’re mad at the response? He proceeds to argue with me, I wasn’t here for it so I turned around to leave. He proceeds to talk to me and argue while my back is turned leaving the store. Mind you I stopped the conversation when I realized his demeanor and approach to my response. I turned around and asked him why is he still addressing me and talking to me. He proceeds to yell and argue. I made him return my item and refund my money. I walked out the store, day not ruined, still happy and beautiful as I can be but, I will never patronize this store again. He claimed he was the “Manager” as well. His attitude and customer service was disrespectful and disgusting, I will never come back here. And the “ Owners “ response to this review “ THAT THEY DELETED BY THE WAY” should be proof of their unhinged attitude, low moralities and inability to be held accountable for their disrespectful customer service practices.

Impossible to find large and extra large sizes even though they profess to be a Christian store
I find this store unacceptable for girls that also want to be in and are these sizes. Don’t get your hopes up.

We were on our way from Ohio to Maine and decided to stop at the mall. We saw this treasure and it was a delight to shop there the employees were pleasant and friendly and very helpful. The clothes were so cute and my daughter just never wanted to leave. She wanted to buy everything in the store and the fact that they had things of encouragement, they had a prayer request book things talking about missions and how they give. It was just a place of class and elegance and It’s definitely a store that we would love to have in our state.

Customer service is definitely not their priority. While waiting to return items, employee took a personal phone call and I waited 5 minutes for him to return.

I was originally excited upon entering the store when I saw cute designs and clothes I would actually wear. After looking at price tags I was deterred by the expensiveness, but that’s not my problem with this store. As my friends and I browsed we found that this store did not have a single clothing item in a large size. There were a plethora of extra small, small, and some medium sized clothing, but after searching and asking employees, we could not find a single article of clothing in large or extra large in the store. It was extremely disheartening to say the least. The lack of inclusivity was disappointing and left us all feeling pretty upset.

I went in a week ago just to look around, the girls were so sweet!!! Nothing short of amazing, extremely helpful. I didn’t buy anything , but they have the cutest clothes in right now, definitely coming back when I can

My girlfriend went in there and her and her friend were beside themselves when they were trying on clothes and a lady was rushing them and told them they are closing in 10 minutes with a rude tone in her voice and then when my girlfriend rang out she put her hand out to get the change and money and the lady dropped it on the table and my girlfriend had to pick it up. And then proceeded to be rude and didn’t even tell us to have a good night or anything she didn’t say a word.

I am an 11 year old girl and I have nomemory of being to a mall. Today I went withmy mom and walked into Altered States. Thisstore deserves fives stars because it haveincredibly nice workers, is a Christian storewith Christian music, and has amazingservice. There dressing room is amazing,clean, and so beautiful! There clearancesales are also very good. It is definitely agreat teenage store with comfy cute clothes.I definitely recommend for people to shop at Altered States.
