Worst company ever 200.00 to cancel 200.00 to come and pickup tanksDestroyed my yard removing the tanksIf you call an office you have to talk to someone that doesn’t speak English in India my bill is over 500.00. Just to cancel too many hidden fees (Think twice before going with amerigas)

I have been trying to get ahold of them for weeks and my tank is getting less and less.
Customer service is out of the country. We have been with them for 31 years. Since I am on the budget plan they owe us 1700.00 dollars and am also concerned in a week or two we will have no heat. .

Absolutely the worst company ever. They are very inconsiderate and untrustworthy. Not only did they fill someone else's tank and charge us for it. They made an appointment to come out today after a certain time and because we weren't there EARLY They locked our tanks and left my animals without heat. Now they won't come out for 6 days due to THEIR mistake of not being there when they said they would be there. This is the last straw!

HORRIBLE! UNSAFE, UNACCOUNTABLE, UNAWARE, INCOMPETENT!In January we moved to a house that had propane, on initial fill up, AmeriGas(required by law) was to do a safety & security check and leak test! When delivery driver arrived he said one does not have to be done, and it's just a take over! Me believing the guy who knows his job well enough to make that call, says okay!Not even 30 days later AmeriGas, sends me a notification that my tank is refilled! I did not understand, I have 3 items that run in propane to my house( Hvac, Water Heater, and Pool Heater(not in season))!I call because I can not believe that I need to pay another $500 less than 30 days later! When I called and said there must be a leak or something, I was told they would know if there was a leak, and that if I did not smell propane, we were fine( they couldn't have been any more wrong), then I was told it was probably my appliances that were older using more propane then newer appliances!It was something we were going to do in the house, so I upgraded the HVAC, and Water Heater tot hire newest versions available, H.E. With warranty after warranty! The pool heater was bought in 2020 which was the most H.E. Model still today!Coming to yesterday April 21st! AmeriGas is here again, 3 fill ups in 4 months!!! WTF! So I stop the driver and tell him my situation! He asks if a safety check or leak inspection was done! I told him NO, I was told it was not needed, he chuckled and stated it's against LAW, not to have one!! So he gets all of his items and sprays soap on all fittings, and sees no bubbles! Then he proceeds to do a pressure test! He moves it to 10, then down to 5 psi, which is supposed to hold! Lo and behold my underground line in leaking!!! It moved to 2.5 in 3 minutes! Significant enough for a shit off notice! Which means I have no use of my HVAC, or hot Water tank!I call immediately because Todd the driver who did all of this was knowledgeable and actually wanted to help!! Tells me to call them ASAP and get a tech out here! Because for 4 months underground there has been propane leaking! I am a disabled veteran, with a spouse, 4 kids and a service dog!! THANK GOD WE DONT SMOKE!! And to ask for loss of product due to AmeriGas failing to do what is required!I spoke to 6 seperate representatives, was promised a service technician to come to the property( did not happen), was told by another representative that I'm putting my family at risk by staying at the house(WHAT), you idiots are the ones that put my safety, my family, service dog, and neighbors at risk for being incompetent at your job!I was told all these notes made into my account and that I would be receiving a call, by end of day to handle this ASAP!I continued to call and got no where, each person more useless than the next!! Finally no one in office, No call, no furnace, no hot water, family still at house!I call in the morning, and ask What the Hell, where are you guys, I get told I was never put on a schedule, and that they need to do a leak test! Hey idiots, it was done by your guy that, was going to deliver but actually decided to do his job!! She then can't tell me when they are coming! I ask what notes were made in my account, and she said nothing really other than you have a leak and are waiting to be scheduled!!! Seriously can not make this up, recorded all conversations with an App on my iPhone!! So I call and cancel everything!! I'm done, bro you really let my family be around one of the most flammable gasses, and still don't care to send anyone!! I call to cancel, and now they want to send someone to help,, NO THANK YOU!! I would rather pay double what I am currently paying than be with this company! You would have to have a nail in the middle of your head, to go with this company! If it was possible for zero stars I would! Heck I'm still awaiting a call back for military discount, and assitance! If this company comes RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!

Extremely horrible customer service, we’ve been on auto fill for 10 years and a customer for 11. They put a block on our account without notifying us and continued to bill us. The reason for the block they stated was for their equipment which they’ve sent no one out to repair (and didn’t bother mentioning to us). After running out of propane we have now had no heat, water, or cooking fuel for the past 2 days. The first day we called they told us someone would be out to refill within 24 hours and to keep our phone lines open. We called again hours later after no one showed up. Nothing but radio silence and we are now going on day three. Needless to say we’ll finish out our contract and be moving on. If we could get our over 1200 back we’d be moving on much sooner.

AmeriGas left we without gas or any way to contact them. Customer service is out of country. Horrible way to treat a customer of over 20 years. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Tank refill is automatic and requires no effort on the customer's end. The website shows the refill amount and current tank fill %. There are historic data for refills and bill pay.

Horrible company driver did not call before like requested was told someone would be out the next day to do a leak check no one came I called to figure out what was going on and was told not for 2 days so I have no heat for 2 days then customer service hung up on me would recommend someone else to everyone

Extremely poor service. I tried to get propane delivered last winter for 2 months. Always got the run around. Had to cancel and go with another company. Almost a year later still dealing with Amerigas trying to charge me a minimum deliver charge. I've been told twice they would zero out and yet I keep getting an invoice.

!!! STOP !!!Do NOT get mixed up with this company. As a respected Local Guide, I strongly advise getting your propane ANYWHERE else.In Feb of '21, they installed my tanks. There was an AC in the window right by where they installed the tanks. They proceeded to FILL the tanks 3 times over the next year with the AC still in the window.August '22, I get a message saying there was a problem filling my order, that my tanks - get this - were within ten feet of an AC unit, and that I would have to remove the unit or pay to have the tanks moved. I told them they installed the tanks next to the AC, if the tanks need to be moved, they're going to do it for free.Fast forward to Oct '22. Placed an order on the 10th. A full week later and the tanks were still not filled with a weather advisory for a freeze tonight. Opened a dialog with them and told them they need to fill the tank today. Despite there being an Amerigas truck in my neighborhood when I pulled in this evening, my tanks had not been filled.I have fired Amerigas. They are now trying to stick me with a $150 early termination fee because they couldn't deliver as well as the $150 tank removal fee (fair enough on the tank removal fee). I'm getting a lawyer.There are a lot of other propane sources in the area, literally anybody else will serve you better than you will be served here, and they will do so without all the little hidden fees, expenses and long-term contracts that these frauds will.

Amerigas is terrible you’ll go weeks without gas and calling to get customer service will be a full time job in itselfThey are criminal and should be shut down

I wish I could give them less than 1 star. They charged me an additional $300 and when I try to speak to anyone at the Akron office, they just transfer me to a call center.

You are the worst company ever!! You should all be in jail because of your negligence of service. Placed an order for refill three weeks ago and still nothing!!! And you shorted me 20 gallons last refill. I’m calling my attorney and the police.
