My daughters have given this store MUCH business throughout the years, and the way my daughter was treated a couple weeks ago was so unprofessional - we will NEVER be back!!! My daughter had some items in her hand while shopping, and she set one of them down (admittedly not in the place she found it), and when she arrived at checkout, the lady was loud with her, asking where the said item was (which means she was following her or watching her on the cameras). My daughter said she sat it down but can’t remember what isle. The lady yelled at her and was almost accusing her of stealing a .99 cent item, and told her to go get it (almost as if she didn’t believe she had set it down). I wish I would have been there with her!!! We have been faithful customers and have always been super polite and friendly. They have lost our business and we will take it elsewhere, and we will be sure to let everyone know about this store. Horrible and unprofessional!!!

On Saturday, March 2, I went to purchase a wig. Jason is unprofressional and rude. He wants to be boisterous, argumentative, and condescending with customers. I will never step foot in Beauty Mart again. Apparently, he does not realize the buying power of African -Americans in the hair industry. We can put his store out of business if we unify and stop patronizing the store. Our actions would speak volumes. Then, he would learn to respect and appreciate African-Americans coming to his store. There are other beauty stores in Akron. By the way Jason, I don't live in Akron, so you telling me not to come back to your store is hilarious. When a customer has not stolen from you and you have the audacity to tell him/her not to come back to your store, that is absurd.

Beautiful selections and very friendly associates. This is MY HOT SPOT for make up… they have a bronzer that puts M.A.C. to shame! They also have a secret rewards card where you can earn in store money based on what you spend. Ask for it.

I was a first time customer in there, earlier this week, and I'm on my way back in today. Great news! I knew exactly what I wanted, and the lady in the wig department found it for me. I've recently gone bald, and searched their inventory for the perfect long, blonde locks. She was kind and respectful, and made it a very nice visit. I think Beauty Mart deserves another star, from a happy, new customer. Thank you!

This is one of the most racist establishments that I've seen in a while as soon as my daughter and I came in we were followed through out the entire store and they even came down each aisle that we were in and pretended to fix something on the shelf, they were so bad that I decided not to buy from this store and put back what I had on the counter after I returned the items back to the shelves and proceeded to leave the younger Asian employee got very angry and was saying very disrespectful things I will never come here again

Owner has poor customer service skills.He was very argumentative about trying on three wigs which is the limit, . As a regular customer im aware the limit was three. He had rude behavior and need to improve on dealing with customers in being more polite and not yell at customer. Its not good for retention of customers. Because of it we made a decision to not spend our money in a place where we were not treated right.
