BJ's Wholesale Club offers a convenient shopping experience with a clean store environment and friendly staff. The Howe Ave location tends to be less busy, making it a comfortable place to shop. Members can take advantage of regular sales, especially on memberships, where a one-year membership can often be purchased for $20, providing savings on gas at BJ's gas pumps. The gas prices are a popular feature, offering good savings for members who fill up there regularly. For privacy, there are designated shopping hours for members age 60+ from 8AM to 9AM Monday through Saturday, and for first responders on Sundays during the same hours. The store carries products like jeans suited for work, which are appreciated by shoppers. While the app mainly offers coupons, online pickup orders can be inconsistent, often requiring a call to retrieve items. The store is generally well-maintained, and staff are friendly and helpful. Customers also praise the quality of certain items, like a rotisserie chicken that was perfectly cooked and tender. However, some find the variety larger than Costco but note that expiration dates on products can be close or expired, so careful checking is necessary. Overall, BJ's provides good deals, quality products, and a pleasant shopping environment.
I like it better then Sams nowadays. Keeping track of coupons is a pain. But they got it all. I got an extra 10 cent off a gallon today because I purchased one of thier fuel saver products so that was a nice surprise

I bought a reasonable membership, and it really has helped during this gas price crisis.
