“This was a very pleasant experience. The guys behind the counter went out of their way to help( you should give them a RAISE). The only thing I did not care for was the the vehicle's auto steering. I could not figure out how to turned it off. Because it only had 1,800 miles on it and was such a new vehicle. Other than that two thumbs up!”

“Convenience to our home location. Our nearest Enterprise location is not in a high traffic location and easier for us older folks to get to without needing to navigate high volume traffic locations. Also, appreciate the flexibility of leaving our rental at the body shop where our car repair was done. Staff was also very accommodating and courteous.”
“Came in with 25 minutes to close, I normally don't, but I needed a car and I planned poorly with a reservation at the competition. Needless to say, I'm sure while they weren't thrilled, they jumped to help and got me in and out of there before close. I realize my poor planning shouldn't have been their issue, but they really helped me fast and with a smile and I appreciated the quick service. Next time I'll remember to come straight to enterprise first!”

“I usually go with enterprise due to better service but in this case I couldn't speak more highly of a Budget Car Rental location. The two gentleman who helped me were both professional and genuinely helpful. I could tell they did everything in their power to get me the best rate. If you're going to rent a car in Akron: Trust me.
Avoid downtown Akron.
Go with Fairlawn aka Montrose and you will be in good hands. They even totally understood when I couldn't make my Saturday return due to my mother's birthday, and allowed me to extend an extra day or two through the weekend so I wasn't penalized unnecessarily.
Overall, despite a very negative initial reservation in downtown Akron, this other Akron location more than made up for any initial rudeness or lack of service I encountered; more than made up for the initial reservation being bumped back a day due to system error.
Note: if you encounter problems with your reservation you will most likely need to call customer service. Take my word for it I myself have spent hours in the past dealing with their reps on the phone, sometimes with no success. To my surprise the guys here went above and beyond to accommodate me and I turned out renting the vehicle for over one full month! (33 days). I think my rate came to just under $400/week after all taxes and fees which is not bad at all considering I would have paid substantially more at Enterprise.
Not bad on a budget! Note: the Toyota Corolla is a super good vehicle for both fuel efficiency and Overall very satisfactory vehicle and experience at this location! (Can't always say the same about Budget's customer service). These guys deserve a promotion!”

“We have been renting from Avis for about 10 years now. Never had an issue. In fact, we ONLY go to Avis for rental needs. Employees are very helpful. I love that they are open on Sundays. Makes planning the drop off a lot easier. As far as using a credit card at pick up...I wasn't too thrilled either, but that is for deposit. You can change payment type at drop off.”
