I purchased the Aero hybrid suspension and rear ohlin shock for my 2022 Beta 300 woods bike and was amazed at how incredible it was my first ride. The bike does not deflect off of roots, logs, rocks like my stock suspension. I am way less fatigued since the bike is calmer everywhere. You will be happy with Coppersmith :))

Guy had my ohlins cartridge back together and ready to send off faster than your local shop can change the oil in your dirtbike.

Watch for high shipping costs i paid $27.14 to have a upper rear shock bearing delivered that would fit in they palm of your hand and it was regular UPS ground delivery, totally ridiculous!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I wasn’t sure what to expect using these guys because I was actually referred to a few other businesses but wanted to try their “kit” suspension. I have a 19 yamaha yz250fx and was seriously miserable with how the front end handled. I decided to go all out and do the aero hybrid kit with coatings. I was blown away. I had to learn to ride the bike again because the front end stays planted and absorbs roots and stays panted in ruts! I will definitely recommend everyone to thom and coppersmith.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I have been racing off-road/moto my whole life, and have been racing off-road professionally for the last 5 years. Over that time, I have tried many different suspension setups, and I have never been as comfortable and confident as I am with Coppersmith. The AERO hybrid fork system is the best all around fork setup that I have ever tried, and it is considerably lower priced than full A-kit forks. Thom at Coppersmith is a such a great guy and will do anything he can to help you with any of your suspension needs. He also has a very quick turnaround time. If you are looking for a great setup, or just need your suspension serviced, I highly recommend that you contact Coppersmith!

I took my 16,000 mile KTM 690 Enduro shock and forks to Coppersmith Racing in December 2020.The shock was leaking pretty bad, and I figured a fork fluid refresh at the same time was a decent idea. The bike was apart for fuel filters and valve adjustment at the time, and it was winter. I wasn’t in a huge hurry to put it back together.Fast forward to July 2021. I had put the bike back together and planned to go on a group ride 60 some miles away. The shock came apart at some point near the beginning of the ride. I had no choice but to slowly ride it back home. Also note, the right fork was now leaking, too.Keep in mind, this shock had normal ROAD miles on it and it came apart. But, he feels he isn’t responsible, and his solution was for me to buy a completely new shock for $1400+. He offered a refund of the shock services, but that doesn’t help me replace my now broken shock. He later said he felt I didn’t deserve a refund—cool. How is that good customer service? To add insult to injury, the next shop that received my shock (now in pieces) said that the (new) seal head was incorrectly installed. And guess what CopperSmith didn’t include when he shipped the shock? The incorrect piece. Tell me that doesn’t smell funny.I took my suspension to him because he seemed to be a decent, renowned suspension rebuild shop. Now that I’ve had this experience, many other people are coming out of the woodwork to say that they aren’t surprised. That should tell you something.Never again. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.Service: Steering & suspension repair

To anyone looking to improve their current suspension setup, I would recommend giving Coppersmith a call. I’ve been using Coppersmith’s services the last 6 years and have not only improved my performance on the bike, but have also learned a ton of valuable information about what to expect out of my suspension.I have never had a more dialed setup than the Coppersmith Aero Kit and Öhlins shock. There is a reason they are the official tuners of Öhlins components. Thom spends countless hours researching and improving his settings so that us riders and racers can get the most out of our bikes. He also offers great trackside services and support at the races!
