I’d give them zero stars but it won’t allow me. Used the atm it ate my card and they don’t own it like other banks so they just told me to reorder my card. I put an old card in that wasn’t any good just to see if it would give it back and it ate it as well. It is still in service and taking cards. I told them about it to see if they would put an out of order sign on it so people wouldn’t lose their cards but they just ignored it and said they just reorder cards for people instead of keeping them from losing cards. What a joke of a bank. Go to a credit union instead of using big joke banks like this.

I went in the branch to open an account because my phone kept having a glitch and Christopher made my experience enjoyable! He was knowledgeable and professional as well as absolutely hilarious. We were cracking up the whole time. Best banking experience possibly ever!

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau held 53 Bank accountable for committing fraud; 53 Bank admitted to opening 1,100 fraudulent accounts. Unfortunately, 53 Bank continues with chronic problems at this branch: 1. 53 Bank added someone else's credit card and loan to my SSN, which I discovered per credit bureau company fraud detection squarely placing the error on 53 Bank -- who admitted their egregious error and apologized in writing and on recorded calls, but refused to name the employee who did it. This occured during the time period that 53 Bank got in trouble for creating multiple false accounts. (See NYT article "Fifth Third Bank Opened Fraudulent Accounts, Consumer Bureau Says" dated March 9, 2020). 2. 53 Bank's own banker at another branch notarized a power of attorney document, added it to the file, and we sent copies via email and in person; but this branch claimed no knowledge of the document for over two years. 3. The personal banker at this branch repeatedly changed our profiles from the correct, verified contact info to another, in error, without my permission or knowledge, multiple times -- verified by customer service, email, and 53 Bank messages. 4. The personal banker at this branch admitted in email amd verbally that she sent the wrong expedited checks -- and failed to send the correct checks for over a month! 5. Every few months 53 Bank allows fraudulent and suspicious activity on my debit card (while I have no problems with any other bank) even after I reply "No" when 53 Bank texts me if I charged the suspicious activity; I then have to go through getting a new debit card and changing my utilities, etc. to the new debit card time and time again every few months. Etc. There is more, lots more. Bottom line: bank elsewhere unlrss you have time for chronic unprofessional, unethical and careless banker errors.

I never had any problems here, I have my mortgage here and just recently refinanced and it was a very easy and professional experience. Yeah the parking lot situation isn't great but you can't win them all :-)

Deposited a check last Thursday they held it so I called to figure what was going on and had two people tell me it be there Monday and I haven't seen a sent of it I hate being lied to so do not use 5/3 identity know what they can to help i had two issues like this Nd they fixed it but I don't know what to say or think about the many more.

People what ever you due.. due not use fifth and third bank. They will rip you off. I have had an installment loan with this company since 2013. The truck is paid off and they are refusing to send me my title for the truck. We paid over the agreed price for the truck .. and they still say we owe thousands of dollars towards the truck. They will hire a personal investigator to get your family records and call and harass them. They will add there own insurnace to your vehicles even if you have insurnace and it raise the monthly payments from 526.00 to 990.00 .. and then they will not refund your money to your account. They have made racist comments to me and my wife. AND BEWARE THE RECORD EVERY CONVERSATION BUT WILL NOT LET YOU RECORD THE CONVERSATION. ALSO THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A RECORDING OF THE CONVERSATION. Stay away from this bank you dont want them destroying your credit like they did mine.. theres so many more banks out there you can bank with other then fifth and third.. please my friends stand up against big business and banks like this fifth and third was on the bailout a few years back. Just so the american people know they got bailed out. And as they was getting bailed out they baught anthire bank out. We bailed them out just so they could by anthore bank???. PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM FIFTH AND THIRD

The worst experience I ever had at a bank! I had an account here and they would charge me a fee to cash my checks!!! It was a $12 fee so I started going across the street to WalMart to cash my checks for $3!!!! Even when I confronted them about the fee they got extremely rude but nobody could justify the $12 fee!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a grip and stop treating your customers like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: The service is friendly at this bank. Cons: It is nearly impossible to enter the Bank parking lot. This is very strange because it has a shopping plaza all around it. Really, they need to carve out a few entrances to this lot in the back and on the sides because it is so difficult to get in there.
