I've been going here for so many years and I keep seeing the same faces which is great they don't have a very high turnover of employees it seems like which makes prescription fillingand go a little bit smoother

Every time I go here, there's a problem with my insurance, which is pretty common these days. What isn't common, is being talked down to, constantly interrupted, and belittled because I ask questions. As someone who has worked retail for 25 years, I know how to talk to people, and this isn't it. I was kind, courteous, and wasn't arguing. But the sheer attitude I received, has me in the process of switching pharmacies immediately.

The pharmacy staff named Theresa said at 1:29 that they were closed until 2 not very friendly lady. In the lady that was been waited on told her well it's 1:29 now so she turned looked at me in said they were closed now 1:30 to 2 to come back after 2. I came back around 2:30 my mom had a co pay she did not know about so the pharmacist who was very kind said she could split the medicine so my mom could have it. It would take 10 minutes. So I went back to my car got my debit card waited about 10 minutes before going back in waiting in line again in a kind woman told me to step to the side it would just be a minute before it's ready. Well the Theresa lady comes back to the front a couple minutes later looks at me sturnly tells me to get back in line like the rest the customers in wait my turn. The lady and gentleman in the pharmacy line apologized for the way she just spoke to me and said I did nothing wrong and she could have asked politely I had already waited in line so at this point I call my mom to tell her the rudeness I keep receiving in this lady Theresa hears me her mouth drops she hurries to the front grabs my mother's prescriptions rings me out smiles in says have a nice day has to be the rudest person I have ever ran into here at this Giant Eagle I have gone here for the past 15 years. Even customers were apologizing to me for her rudeness.

First time coming here. Wanted to shop around for food ideas for dinner. The prices here are absolutely off the wall expensive compared to the grocery stores by me. Store is clean, well organized too with tons of self checkout lines. Fair variety of everything you need to stock up your pantry

Bought 90% ground sirloin yesterday 10/16/23 today i opened it and it was a half inch layer of fresh hamburger wrapped around old brown hamburger. Prices are way to high to be selling substandard beef. Supermarkets are not allowed to mix old with new. What a shame

At 5:10 PM I shopped the store located at 484 E Waterloo RD Akron OH 44314. My family wanted me to pick up a Rotisserie Chicken + sides. The hot foods section was unmanned. All cases were empty. There was a Giant Eagle promotional sign posted on the hot items case that stated that "Hot Rotisserie Chicken was available until 8 PM GUARANTEED!" It was 5:10 PM and NO "Hot Rotisserie Chickens" were available for purchase anywhere in the store. We will never shop Giant Eagle again.

I was at a self check out at Giant Eagle and a giant eagle employee approached me checking my items to make sure I wasn't stealing. I understand because shoplifting is rampant everywhere but I am a regular customer and have been for 20 years. I also work at a pharmacy in the area. She was extremely rude to me to a point that I called and complained about her rude behavior and attitude. She didn't apologize to me. I felt highly disrespected

Got a cooked meatloaf from here on Wednesday and let me tell you it was not only cooked it was BURNT!! WOULDN'T even come out the pan. I guess I will have to travel further to the Fairlawn store. Just horrible

This review is on the outside of the store. Glad that there is a large recycling bin for plastic bags. We like to recycle our bags, and it's easy to pull up near the bin to unload. Also liked that the gasoline pumps are nearby too. Easy to get in and out.
