If I could give this place zero Stars I would. Prices are so outrageous I couldn't believe it I even looked several things up online and it was cheaper brand new then what it was used at this restore. They should be ashamed of themselves this stuff was donated for free to them I'm disgusted I will never come here again. You're supposed to help the underprivileged not rip them off even more

I had such a wonderful experience this morning at Habitat in Akron. Every single person was so helpful and made my day! Special shout out to Maurice (manager) and Bob (Volenteer) those are the kind of workers yours company should strive for!

Found a heavy door, not sure what it is filled with but it's heavy. Thanks to Dan for pricing it and "Bob" the good Samaritan for helping with situating it.

Just so so. Big selection of furniture in various stages of niceness. Prices varied, but thought on the whole prices were kind of high. Great place to look around. You might find something unique that you love, but I did not.
Folks working there were nice and helpful, store was clean.

First day here, came for a toilet, with their 75% off sale, walked out with one for $6.67, who can beat that? And also needed a ceiling fan replacement light globe, for one that fell off and shattered, into a bunch of pieces, in one of the bedrooms. Got it for one dollar! Thank you for all you offer to help people struggling to boith find and pay for things!

We tried to donate two Ethan Alan loveseats. The person picking them up rubbed a sticky glove over them and said they had dog hair and couldn’t accept them. When I asked him to show me he had to rub the glove at the bottom of the sofa and found a few hairs snd dust. Our dog died 14 years ago. We’ve had our house cleaned by professionals. They said they couldn’t take them because some people are allergic to dog hair I thought Restore sold furniture to people who wanted to buy it. they would not take our hardly used loveseats.
They will be put out on our curb with a free sign.

I used to go here all the time when I first purched my house. I even donated left over material. You never knew what you would find. The prices where always great. Well now they somehow got a shipment from arhaus and they think they are a department store. Chair $450 and up couched for $1000 and up tables for $800. I can buy items brand new for cheaper than that. All this stuff was donated they recieved it all for free. This was my first time coming back in under a year and I was completely disappointed. I probably won't be coming back. MARKET PLACE FOR THE WIN.

This store is a resale shop, this store is ok. They mostly have a lot of used stuff for sale. Fun fact this used to be a Handy Andy store and they still have the Handy Andy sign up which is cool.

I’ve been to quite a few Habitat Restore locations and this one is simply the best! The staff here is incredible!

Love some of the finds at this place, but I think employees could be a little more mindful when it comes to customer service.
I tried to call several times when the store opened with no answer, and when I made it to the store I stood behind two women (one being an employee) talking about their nails for about 10 minutes until I received any assistance. It just felt a little off-putting.

This used to be a great place to buy furniture but just go buy new, their prices have skyrocketed to ridiculous amounts. There's no public restrooms & it's so full you can hardly push a cart down aisles. Check craigslist first, trust me

*this review is strictly for the donation pickup aspect.*Hello! Do not donate items here if you want kind, fast help. I emailed well over a week ago asking about pickup for 2 items. Well at first it was 1 then I added a 1940s radio to it. The first item was a 20s or 30s China hutch. I asked, sent photos, got confirmation. In the afternoon of the 15th I was asked if the 16th was okay. I replied within 2 hours saying no it was too late. I need help to get the items out as I have fibromyalgia and can't lift well. They came anyhow. Banged on my door and left a post it. I emailed asking why they came and I did not like the fact they just showed up. i was then told it "was confirmed via phone" which it couldnt have been because i never got a call PLUS later on i was asked for a phone number because they didnt have one. (We communicated via email) i rescheduled for today, the 22nd. I put the items out late last night with the help of my fiance before he went to work. I had asked them not to knock this time as he will be asleep for work. They came at 11 and told me they couldn't take the items because they are wet. I took a tarp off of them at 9 so they wouldn't have to knock. Guess what they BANGED on my door loud enough for me to hear in the back bedroom with my door closed and tv on. when I have a doorbell. yes, from 9 to 11 they got wet. Its raining. I can't help that. however they werent soaked and could have easily been dried off. These are items in pristine condition that could've been sold for A good price even had the key for the cabniet still to lock. Now they will go on my curb. I wish I knew how to upload my ring video because it was all captured. When I said okay they just stood there and starred at me. What did they want me to do argue with them? no, the items will just go in the trash. Highly disappointed. Highly unprofessional.

Had such a pleasant experience here. The furniture selections are constantly being refreshed - and furniture is sometimes put outside for free. That alone is just incredible. And it's very nice furniture. The men working there today were so nice and helpful, I'm very thankful for them helping me get my couch secured in my truck.
