Showed up at my specified time for the rental provided by the person that hit my car insurance. When I got there they had absolutely no idea why I was there. Proceded to fumble around and give excuses talk in circles. Eventually was told to get lost and come back some other time. No kidding! Then 2 days later at 9 pm when I'm in bed hertz at Akron canton Airport calls be confirm a rental. You can't make this up............

I called this office to rent a car. I never got to talk to a person. After many layers of automated menus, found out that they don't do reservations by phone any more; you have to go to their website. So I hung up and called Enterprise instead!

Absolutely do not rent from this location. We made a reservation months ago, paid in full, and received a confirmation to pick up and arrived on time and no one was there! We kept calling and calling and not a single human person on the phone until I scoured the hertz webpage for a customer service number. They were unapologetic not offering anything more then a refund that won’t be the full amount paid and will take 10 days. Thank God for Enterprise.

I asked for Tesla model 3 and they give me Kia EV without charging adapter so i can’t charge it at home. They suppose to bring it to the repair shop but then they said they have no one at last min.

Employee gave inaccurate information about rental length. Also they rent you new cars that are broken and need service.

Poor selection on my most recent rental and very understaffed. There was one person when both picking up and returning and he had to do everything by himself. Not his fault personally, but this created a longer than expected wait time and the whole process was not as smooth as it should have been. The car I ended up with was relatively clean, although not my first choice.

I RESERVED a full size vehicle.. Get there and Salesman informs me(didn’t get his name) they were over booked and only had A Tesla. Well I didn’t reserve an electric car.. never driven one.. don’t want to.. but I was in a rush so ok. Well can I get a discount? no. Well this size is smaller than full size.. he just started at me. Oh and the car was on charged to 15% but in the contract it said 100% and we have to bring it back on 100%😳. No! It was soaking wet because he was clearly just now cleaning it for me to take.. opened the door and the car didn’t smell fresh! I asked to cancel.. I left with no car! This totally ruined my day and my plans!! No apology.. no nothing!! I just don’t know why other arrangements couldn’t be made to give me a car close to what I reserved it for d@mn sure wasnt a Tesla!!! So disappointing.

I've rented with Hertz at this specific location for as long as I can remember, and the employees that work here - Gail, Marcus, and Everett - have been extremely kind, caring, and helpful each time! I've had multiple experiences getting assisted by each of these wonderful individuals, and I can confidently say that the 5-star service I receive here from them each time I rent is the reason I keep coming back. I lost count of the times I've rented with them, and each and every car I've had was in excellent condition. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you, Gail, Marcus, and Everett, for being awesome - you all make my rental experience with Hertz 10× better! Much love!

I am editing my review as it has been almost a month and i still have not been refunded! Filing a complaint with the BBB as well!!
NEVER USE THOS COMPANY.... ENTERPRISE IS WAY BETTER AND THEY GIVE YOU YOUR DEPOSIT BACK MINUTES AFTER YOU RETURN YOUR RENTAL.... CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH HERTZ IS A DAMN JOKE, THEY TELL YOU TO GO ONLINE AND REQUEST A REFUND! I WAS TOLD THE DAY OF THIS ENRIRE MESS IT WOULD BE.... GUESS ITS TIME TO CALL MY LAWYER! Booked on line and because the card was not in my name ( I'm an authorized user, my card just has not arrived) I was unable to get my rental. According to them my name has to be on the card, it does not matter that I'm an authorized user.... I am suppose to get my mom's stuff from florida as her health has declined Now I can't rent the car and thanks to this I can't move my mother home!

After posting this review i got yet another letter stating i owe 700 dollars even though i was told after the last 500 dollar payment (which they scammed me for but i obliged to be done with them) was the final thing needed and my account was closed and id be done with them. Still trying to charge me after saying my account with them is closed is absolutely ridiculous. Dont trust the padded 3.5 star rating and scroll through the reviews written by real people and not bots to boost their rating and youll see that this is the last place that deserves your business.
Terrible experience, got a car thru insurance was told to leave the car at the shop I picked my car up from and give them a call and was even told the shop gave them a call, hertz decided not to pick their car up till the last day my insurance paid for so they could get the additional coverage fees I paid for out of me, now since I'm on contract I am out 600 dollars and can't feed myself or pay my bills, go somewhere else, shady tactics here.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! Gail was very dismissive and unwilling to help. Will never use Hertz or recommend Hertz to anyone!
