In July my husband and I started looking for wedding rings at Kay and found one we really liked...Except for the center diamond and the gold karats, nothing else was modified. It was barely created in time for our wedding and the ring was made wrong and it looked nothing like the ring we picked out. Since we got the wrong ring just days before we left for our wedding, Kay's sales people said we could use the ring for the wedding and they would remake another one, plus expedite it.However, after we got married we were notified they needed the ring back to reuse the small diamonds around the ring for the new one and could not make a new one until we returned the one we had or pay for another ring.It was made incorrectly and kay wanted to use pieces from old one and risk damaging the smaller diamonds instead of making it all brand new.So I have been without a wedding ring for almost going on six months now and we been to Kay's at least about two dozens times to look at the new pictures of the ring they still aren't able to create as the one in the show case.. I'm an physician and my time is very limited and valuable and I don't have time to keep going back to Kay's to discuss a ring that shouldn't be so complex to duplicate.Their reason is because the diamond is bigger, so it changes everything. I'm assuming most people would choose a bigger diamond than the smaller one the ring comes with.Its actually because whoever kay uses to create their rings couldn't copy the ring itself and design a totally different ring entirely. The blue prints even have the gold karat wrong and changed the 18k to 14k at some point.It's going on nine months and still we dont have an actual time frame when it will be made or even if its going to be right this time.. Kay's sales people offered us the over sized display ring to use untill it ready, but also paying double the price to use it. So give Kay estimated value 10K + to rent a ring?? Sounds crazy considering we already pay for a ring that I don't even have and it was supposed to be expedited early October for our wedding.I can't even choose a different style ring since it won't even come close to matching the one I got married with. Not to mention the trauma I have been through of not being able to keep the wedding ring and nonetheless my friends, relatives and colleague have questioned me multiple times if I actually even got married since it's getting close to a year when we first picked out the ring and still don't have one.. It's so embarrassing! It's been another month from when my husband helped the sales people figure out how it was created wrong. Surprisingly after several months passed by, you would think they would've be able to figure it with their own people from Kay.Kay hasn't even mentioned how we would be accommodated and still hasn't gave us a time frame when the ring would be ready.. I believe we have gave Kay ample time before posting this story/review! We even tried calling customer service to no avail.No one from corporate or anyone from Kay has reached out to resolve this issue. This entire situation is emotionally devastating and unacceptable!!Not only this, Kay ruined my wedding gift surprise by sending me the email receipts of the gifts my husband bought, when it was him who bought the necklaces and has a separate account with Kay.I have asked all my friends and family to avoid Kay in the future and I recommend going to jewelers who make their own jewelry instead, otherwise you may just end up like us and have the most beautiful moments of your life ruined.Adding pics here of me wearing the totally wrong style of ring and the others of what we chose and what it was supposed to look like.

I had an idea of what I wanted to get my wife for our 30th anniversary but nothing set in stone. Kevin listened and then took his time to find the right setting even before talking about diamonds for the ring. Once he was sure I was happy with the setting then we talked about gold color choices and diamond size and shapes. He made sure it was an unforgettable ring for my wife. He even helped with surprising her with the ring. No pressure, great selection, affordable pricing and knowledgeable staff. What else is there to say except thanks again!

Summit mall Kay jewelers location is only spot I will go to and purchase from. I live in Cleveland area and drive all way there because they have the best service and have been polite and nice to me. I have purchased watched, rings, necklaces and bracelets from this location.They always makes sure I am happy with purchase. Rather it’s a new purchase, trade in or making sure jeweler stays secure. This location is hands down top notch and highly recommend. I specifically always ask for Barb because of how much support and detail she gives about understanding what you are purchasing and has a good feel for what customers are looking for by paying attention to detail and listening to their needs…if she is not available I know I’m still in good hands there! More purchases to come!

After a nightmare experience at the Kay's in Stow, the Fairlawn Kay's (in Summit Mall) came to the rescue! Barb and the store manager, Kevin have made such an awful situation, better with their kindness, patience and hard work. Barb has been beyond amazing and SO helpful! Barb treats you like you are family, and I can honestly say, I felt like she helped me as if I were her daughter and advised me with honesty. Barb truly puts pride into what she does, her knowledge and years of experience show. Barb makes sure that all basics are covered, and then some. I truly can't thank you enough Barb, for all your hard work in helping me in bettering a situation that I never thought I'd have to be in! You've put Corey and I's mind at ease knowing that from this point forward, we can trust you and your crew with my new beautiful ring for the cleanings, inspections and any future encounters that we may come across!Also, I'd like to mention how I've been this store numerous times within the last 2 weeks, and every single person that works there has approached myself or fiancé with a friendly face eager to help! I've seen this store on slower occasions and busy occasions, and no matter of the number of people that may be in there, there is always someone with a smile that acknowledges you, that makes you feel that you are just as important as the customer they are helping.Thank you Barb, Kevin and team! You guys rock and I will say it again.. Corey and I should of came to you sooner!And everyone, if you live in between Stow and Fairlawn, please.. when I tell you this with all my heart, go to Fairlawn and avoid Stow with all costs.
