I will not shop at Home Depot. I like Lowe's. The associates have always been courteous and helpful. Their stores are always clean and well stocked.

Just a fair warning for online shoppers who are looking to take advantage of Lowe’s free same day delivery. They subcontract this service out to DoorDash apparently. Which is totally fine until it isn’t. First thing in the morning I ordered about a dozen items including a can of paint through Lowe’s website. Mid way through the day someone shows up to deliver my items, goes to get them from the back of his vehicle and he realizes the gallon of paint had tipped over and spilled all over his vehicles and the rest of my items (which to me sounds like the can was never properly sealed in the first place). The driver then pulls everything out of the back of his car and places it in my driveway (which covers my concrete in the paint) and leaves. We call Lowe’s to explain the situation and they say that since it was door dash who delivered the items they don’t have any responsibility for that part of the service? They offered to refill my gallon of paint if I brought it into the store though. Lol. Not a great way to run a business if you’re going to sub out a the work but won’t take responsibility for the subs actions.

I hate Lowe’s and they won’t take items back that I bought for people that were Christmas gifts because I bought them November 29th and that’s over 30 days. No changes for the holidays? That’s ridiculous and lost you a customer. I was told it was up to the individual manager. I cut up my credit card and will never shop there again. Horrible management and horrible store. I will go to the orange store.

Consistently poor service in person, customer service always confused about orders vs pickup, have been double charged, they don't answer the phone. Unless you know exactly what you need I wouldn't recommend this location

I actually prefer this to home depot. The store is more organized. It seems cleaner. It is well stocked, and it seems that they have a little bit of everything.
And they also have preferred veteran parking, which I liked, even if I wasn't a veteran.

Love the corporation, but the customer service is nonexistent. The place is museum. Too few staff. Zero customer engagement from their employees. Rang the buzzer for assistance in Doors. No one showed. Similar experience last week. Hartville Hardware it is.

To follow up on my review. After it taking two weeks to finally get a delivery attempt after several failed attempts they send me a message with this picture. I was asked if I still want it since I bought it. The green location is absolutely the worst around customer service. Avoid this store at all cost. Fairlawn location would be my recommendation.

Go out on 08.13 and order a portable dishwasher. Was told than I will be getting it on 08.28, get an email on 08.28 saying you need to reschedule the delivery, also got a call from them saying it needs to be rescheduled. Got it rescheduled for 09.03, get the call the night before with the go ahead for the 09.03. Get an email on the 3rd saying sorry can't deliver reschedule for today, never got the call from Lowe's saying it needs reschedule, we had to call them and get it set up for today. Get the call and email last night saying delivery is good to go for today between 10-2pm. Get an email this morning, it's out for delivery awesome! Heck no not even 5 minutes later gets an email saying it not being delivered (that email was to tell me it on the truck for delivery to the store) need to be reschedule for Saturday. Needless to say, we are pissed off. Finally get a call from Lowe's saying sorry it's not being delivered until Sat. I go off explain everything to them. Let hope Sat we get our dishwasher. I have to wait until I get my delivery before I can call back to the store to get money off of by bill.

I have not had positive experiences in the past two times I dealt with Lowes to install something. This time, I was in the market for new hard flooring in my bedroom and unfortunately the pattern I wanted is exclusive to Lowes. I was very wary about engaging with them again but decided to give it a try.
They sent someone out to measure and he told me that I would have to disassemble our king size bed. I explained that my husband and I, are not in the best of health and had no way and no one to do that. He then measured the bed very carefully and said that if we would pay to have the furniture moved, they could simply move the nightstands out of the room, and then could swivel the bed from one side of the room to the other as they worked. That was fine with me and I agreed.
Based on that information, I called the store and purchased the flooring and the installation. Two days later I got a call from the installation center who told me they would not be able to install the floor unless I could figure out how to disassemble the bed. I explained the solution the guy who measured came up with and they were unmoved. They said they were afraid of damaging the bed. (I do not have some palatial, fancy bed. Its just a regular old bed). I offered to sign a waiver but they would not go that route either. I have no idea what the issue was - I have had two other floors installed in that room over the years and the very same bed was never an issue.
So there I was, with purchased flooring and no one to install it. I called several area installers and none of them had any issue with the bed and all said they could work around it and/or disassemble it if needed. I hired the company that had the first opening and it was beautifully done within a week.
Always an issue with this company - never, ever again! I've learned my lesson.
